Brilliantly cast spy thriller topped off with Tom Hardy and Gary Oldman (who finally gets a long overdue shot at an Oscar)…
The trailer is usually released before the soundtrack is completed, so they use tracks from other movies.

Yeah, it’s a version of my long-standing motto: “Stupidity transcends race”. Woody Harrelson has had a run of good movies over the past few years…I can’t see him breaking that streak now. Ben Foster is in it as well…his last dud was X-Men: Last Stand.
This seems to be the first attempt to present Shakespeare’s verse in the form of an action movie. SoA has tested the waters by channelling Hamlet but this is a full-blooded adaptation…
I’m watching “Rampart” later tonight and will give my thoughts in the “More Movies…” thread afterwards. I can’t wait for “Tinker Tailor Solider Spy” and “Coriolanus” both films are filled with actors that can do no wrong in my books.
Early word has this pegged as the Spanish Die Hard…a rookie PO gets trapped with the inmates during a prison riot and has to pretend he is a con himself in order to survive…
Now this is one good movie. I thought the end was a bit of a let down but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Very compelling. I recommend anyone to see this.
“Liam Neeson leads an unruly group of oil-rig roughnecks when their plane crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. Battling mortal injuries and merciless weather, the survivors have only a few days to escape the icy elements and a vicious pack of rogue wolves on the hunt before their time runs out.”
I’ll give it a shot, but I’m usually disappointed when a movie’s “villain” is plain old animals. Maybe I’m just desensitized, but this would be even more awesome if it was werewolves. But I could very well be wrong and the Neesonian awesomeness could carry it just fine. I mean, seriously, you gotta root for a dude who tapes broken mini-liquor bottles to his hands.

I don’t know why… listening to Liam speak at the start of the trailer reminded me of Taken. ‘‘I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have is a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.’’
This movie looks quite interesting. A mixture of Castaway, The day After Tomorrow and ALive! with wolves. And Liam Neeson. Cool.
