I feel we are turning into a society much like Nazi Germany, If you look back in time the people of Germany didnt really know what they were fighting for they just loved Germany and being in it. looks like a really cool movie…

yeah, looks a little cheezy, but i like cheezy-blow’em up-movies…

oh, and for those that havent seen “jarhead”, it is a very accurate portrayal of marines…

the marine corps is a brotherhood unmatched by anything i have ever experienced…

“full metal jacket” was also very accurate… r.lee ermy (the drill instructor) was indeed, a real drill instructor…so, his performance was dead on… (i am not saying they still punch recruits, though)

The thread is about a movie trailer. What the hell does a movie trailer have to do with a 9-11 conspiracy. Its a movie.

Just to recap - movies are stories written on paper in which human beings are hired to act out visually on something called video. People then pay a fee to view this story for enjoyment. Some people will leave the viewing loving the story while others will hate it.

Take for instance the movie ‘story’ Titanic. I’m sure you were in the group that loved the movie as it sparked emotions in you that you never thought you had. I’m sure you reached over and grabbed your boyfriends hand real tight did’nt you. On the other hand, people on this site like things like Walking Tall, Terminator, and Striptease. Not due to some underlying look into what is really happening in America, but because shit gets blown up and Demi Moore shows her titties.

On another note, accept the fact that people may not like America to the point where they will cause a 9-11. Don’t spend your whole life and energy trying to pawn it off on the very country that you are a part of. Its disheartening and a bit childish. I realize you don’t like Bush, Republicans, and government but honestly, they are not out to get you.

P.S. We did go to the moon. The Apollo mission wasn’t a conspiracy either.

Full Metal Jacket is a Marine classic. Every Marine wants to be Gy. Hartman. Best first half a movie in history. The second half was goofy.

Jarhead was a stupid book. The guy is a pussy. Maybe the movie was better, but I disliked the book so much I refused to go see it.

also, the part where the guy’s wife sent “The Deer Hunter” movie, but instead was a video of his wife doing some joe, is a variation of a story i heard while i was in (94-01)… but this guy was on float, and the movie was “Heart Break Ridge”, so i guess every Marine has heard that one…

Looks like a good movie, but I don’t think it will do as well as it should (IMO anyway).
