New Member. First Cycle.

I’ve read and read a lot over the years since I was a teenager and T-Nation.com seemed like the best place to log my first cycle.

Background info: 27yr old. 204lb. 6’1". BF% unknown.
Training: 14 years in the weight room, never have missed a day unless the gym was closed on a holiday.
Lifestyle: I don’t drink/smoke. I buy only healthy foods; however, if I come across junk food I may indulge.
4-day split: shoulders/calves. Quads/hams. Chest/bi. Back/tri.
Supplements: protein powder, animal pak, 6g fish oil. 2000mg vitamin c. 400mg coq10.
Prescription meds: 30mg adderall ir

Now on to my plan: 10-12 week test only
500mg test enanthate weekly (RTS Labs) mon and thurs shots
18G withdraw pins
1ml syringe
25G 1&1/2" pins inject
Anastrozole .5mg EOD or E3D (iron-dragon) liquid form

PCT:
Nolva 40/40/20/20 (dragonsgate pharma, holland)
Clomid 100/50/50/50 (dragonsgate pharma, holland)

Diet:
4000+ calories
Chicken
Eggs/egg whites
Steak
White rice
Potato
Natural peanut butter
Asparagus

Conclusion:
I am currently 204lb and will drop slightly below 200lb before I cycle because thats the weight where I start to have visible abdominal muscles. I also plan on getting blood work done in the next few days which I will post along with blood work during cycle and after PCT is finished. On cycle I plan to train body parts twice a week instead of once. I have enough test to run 500mg for 16 weeks; however, it will be between 10-12. I originally wanted to add HCG into the mix. I cannot find any and am under the impression from research that it wouldn’t necessarily be needed for me to recover. I still have mixed information regarding HCG so I’m not completely sure. Cycle will most likely start at the end of the month and I will keep up with posts, not daily but whenever I feel something important arises. I’m completely open to any advice from more knowledgable people and I take constructive criticism very well. I hope I have provided ample details about myself and what I am doing for anyone who reads this.

Sounds fine. If you have a few weeks worth of extra test, why not just add them in? Either increase the dose all along or add in a bit extra towards the end as gains begin to tail off. It’s up to you though. Good luck with the cycle.

BUD’s do you think running .25 EOD is much different that .5 EOD? I mean is less always better with this? Will .5 keep more water off compared to the other? Considering a person is 15% BF and fairly lean to begin.

In general I fell with in range on the test. Any thoughts or concerns feel free to let me know.

Little is better, you don’t want to send your e2 too low. But everyone is different when it comes to dosing.

Ok so…I’m struggling with my menomophic body structure and have used test cyp. Before and got excellent results. I have been busy with life and out of the gear game but have consistently made it to the gym. Im in my early 30s and want to start a new cycle. Any new info/recommended gear cycles would be greatly appreciated. Please I/M me if you have positive input.

Just did my first pin. Was scared shitless lol but I felt zero pain… No joke it was a painless shot. Probably the best and easiest shot I ever got. Anyway… I made some last minute changes on my AI and PCT. I acquired pharmacy grade nolva/clomid so I will be using that pct instead. Also I acquires pharmacy grade aromasin which I plan to run 6.25mg ED starting in the next 2 weeks. I also never ended up dieting down below 200lb. Im sitting around 203-204. I like to eat to much and hate being in a caloric deficit. Im going to eat at maintenance calories up until my third shot and then up it to close to 4000 cals the remainder and just hit it hard from there on out and I will try and keep up with my postings and see if I can get some pics uploaded soon. Anyway this a log for me as well as others that want to see how my transformations goes. For any of the experienced members… Like i said before, i am open to your advice so feel free to critique what i am doing.

Day 6

Did 2nd pin yesterday. Little sore today. Just worked out and didnt do any crazy poundages, just felt like I could redo my entire workout cause I was really into it and had more energy. I dont know if thats placebo though.
I,ll keel posting on/off until it really kicks in and theres more to talk about.

Day 25 (little past 3 weeks)

So i obviously dont spend much time on the computer but thought i would update. I started at 204lb and now im 219 when I wake up. Much thicker and fuller in the chest and shoulders. Bodyfat looks visibly the same. Strength is rising pretty well. Im eating 2lbs of chicken 5 cups of rice 2 bananas 2 protein shakes with milk 10 egg white and 2 cups of oatmeal daily and i snack on natural peanutbutter throughout the day.

Ill give an example on a strength increase. Before cycle i could incline bench press 245x4 now i can do 295x5. I honestly didnt expect this much weight gain and this much strength increase in just 3 weeks. I am training 6 days a week working each body part twice. The first 3 days is mostly compound lifts reps 5-8. The next 3 days is for hypertrophy where i lighten the weight a bit and go real high rep, literally 20 plus. Im doing lots of super sets giant sets and drops sets as well that are all random. I never do any of my exercises in any order i just go to the gym and kind of make up a workout while im there.

The only thing i know is what bodypart i will be working.

Side effects: increased libido, oily skin, got road rage once when a truck cut me off, sensitive nipples.

I started taking aromasin after a week and a half because of the nipple thing and it made my oily skin go away.

So far i feel great. I dont feel like an animal or anything i just feel better. I love the recovery.
For instance i havent dumbell benched pressed since i was a teenager and last thursday i did it with a friend of mine and i went as high as 130s for 4 reps. My chest was on fire and i was sore. Within an hour no soreness. Nothing. Just constant feeling of being pumped.

So i am curious to see how much larger and stronger i can get. Im hoping for the 240lb mark at this same bodyfat but that may be a little high. After 6 weeks i will assess myself and may incorporate a couple of weeks to hit an am/pm split 6 days and hit every bodypart 3 times a week for a short while and see how i can handle it. But more than likely i will stay on my current track.

Thanks guys. Appreciate it. I decided to stay on 16 weeks since I have enough. I’m going to get bloods drawn again on wednesday and every 4 weeks throughout. Last night my head was all itchy and i had dry lips but it might just be the cold weather; however, i want to see where estrogen is at.

Everything is fine. Lately Ive been sleeping like a damn baby. I feel good though. Im 220lb right now. I did a blood test wednesday just waiting on results. Ive decided to post before after pics at the end of cycle. No point posting every few pounds i gain.

Bloodwork is in for the 4 week marker:

Testosterone 1500
Estrogen 57.1

Also had high levels of EOS, BUN, creatinine, AST, ALT.

And obviously low LH and FSH.

Questions… I take 6.25mg aromasin daily. Should i bump it to 12.5mg or just leave my estrogen alone if i have no acne, no boobs lol and face isnt fat?

Also… Im fairly familiar with the other tests that came out high because Im eating a crap load of meat and taking preworkout drinks and training pretty intensely 6 days a week. Taking vitamin supps and what not.
Should i drink an extra gallon of water a day or is it something i should worry about?

Going to give a detailed update…
Today was my 16th shot so Wednesday will be the end of 8 weeks. So far so good. I seem to be leveling out in the gym and strength gains have halted a bit; however , I am much stronger than before.
Examples:
Before flat bench: 315 for 3-4 reps
After flat bench: 365 for 3
Incline is now 315 for 3
Before dumbbell shoulder press 80lbs for 8
After dumbbell shoulder press 100lb for 15 reps!
Before squat 335 for 7-8
After squat 405 for 4

Anyways you get the point. As far as my weight goes the heaviest I have been was 234lb at 6 weeks I think. I had been eating my usual clean 3500cal diet, but ice cream and pizza and other junk on top of that because I was getting some pretty crazy hunger pains. The hunger pains have subsided and I have been eating real clean for the past 2 weeks and I weighed at 226lb this morning.

Side effects:
I feel the hole time on cycle that when its time to go to bed I find it difficult because my heart is racing, but when I do fall asleep I sleep pretty good. Ive had itchy nipples twice so far and each time I have bumped aromasin from 6.25mg to 12.5mg for a day or 2 then back down to 6.25mg and it literally goes away in a couple hours. (I think the whole gyno scare shit is overrated btw) I have had probably 3 pimples on my face so far… a couple more on my back though which have mostly been blackheads ( you can really see them but you can feel them like little dots on your back, I just scratch them off lol) Umm lets see, hair is fine also, as a matter of fact it seems to be growing faster on head face and body. sex drive is always good, oh and those time I bumped my aromasin dose up I would always get a monster boner in the morning. No rage issues; however, I find myself becoming more annoyed with people lately, like they seem to exhaust me if they engage in pointless conversation with me. Testicles have shrunk a little, if I were to make a guess Id say they lost 20% of their size.

Things to note about my workouts:
For 6 weeks straight I was eating like a beast and hitting each body part twice a week. Gains were crazy…well I over exhausted myself a bit and started experiencing little pains here and there with shoulders elbows and knees. So I backed off to a 5 day split hitting each body part once a week and the pains have gone away and gains have kind of slowed. Also my intensity doesn’t seem the same as when I first started, but I am still going hard in the gym.

So theres some insight for anyone thats never done a test e cycle and is looking forward to one. Im handling it well and enjoy it much.

Now for anyone following who is more knowledgeable or a veteran I suppose, if I could ask some advice…
I think I have made great gains so far, they have stopped at the moment how much room for any extra gains is there if I run this cycle another 8 weeks?
Would it be better if I cut it short at maybe 10-12 weeks instead of 16 possibly due to the fact its easier to recover from a short cycle? (from what Ive heard and read) Cause I will be doing another test only cycle next year.
I originally planned on running clomid and nolva together for my PCT, but Ive read and heard nolva is more for the whole gyno thing, lowers IGF-1 yada yada, anyways from what I read and how my mind understands it… low dose clomid at 25-50mg is optimal for recovery because doctors actual prescribe it for those purposes. Ive also read about running it along side aromasin. So basically aromasin on cycle, in between and during PCT. So something like…
Clomid 50/25/25/25/25/25
Aromasin 6.25-12.5 (just base it on how Im feeling)

Someone correct me if I am wrong, My whole goal is to make most amount of gains possible and keep as much as possible and recover as fast as possible. I don’t mind going into PCT early if it ensures a speedy recovery, especially if I don’t really gain much in the next week or 2. So if anyone would mind to give me some advice and insight Id appreciate it much,
