Brilliant!..
…It shows that the mind is a marvellous thing- with that behind you,the rest will
only come easier and better…
nice work,slamdog!

ps… as to eating proper…
With the lugumes I could suggest a slow cooker to have on hand a fast, super charged meal-(using a a chilli recipe sans the meat…of course chicken, turkey ,or lean red meat can’t hurt either…A pot of natural brown rice, kept in the fridge…veg on top, microwave, and a dallop of cottage cheese…season to taste…
now how’s that??
cheers!

well…

depression sets in…

after the v-diet, i stayed clean, ate good foods and dang it… added 10lbs back on…

now that hasn’t changed my waistline, still down at 36" but it really isn’t doing me any favours seeing that figure on the scales, the same bf% (29%) and not getting anywhere.

I signed up to fitday…

after doing a food log I’m only on around 1600 cals! no wonder the vdiet was working, it was only a couple of hundred cals short of my normal intake…

so, where do I go from here? Everything I read tells me to eat more to start the weight loss again…

So now to work out a diet plan…

My trouble is the good old night shift work pattern… And finding enough good food to eat…

so far it looks like this…

08:00 Breakfast
11:00 Snack
14:00 Lunch
17:00 Snack
20:00 Dinner
23:00 Snack

Work Days are similar but times are odd…

15:00 Breakfast
17:00 Dinner (with Family)
20:00 Snack
23:00 Meal
02:00 Snack
05:00 Snack

The biggest oddity is the first shift day…

08:00 Breakfast
11:00 Snack
14:00 Snack
17:00 Dinner (with Family)
20:00 Snack
23:00 Dinner
02:00 Snack
05:00 Snack

Now snack is translated to 2 scoops of met drive with a teaspoon of flax seeds and 16 fl. oz.(imperial)of water.

I do drink the odd bottle of diet coke when at work.

Maybe I need to be spoonfed (sic) a diet plan with foods on it… I just can’t get why I don’t seem to be able to eat enough.

In the past on weightwatchers… I couldn’t eat all the ‘points’ that I was allocated simply because it was just too much food… This seems to be the same now.

All of this so far without trying to balance it out to 30/30/30 or 50/40/20 or any other rato of carbs fats and protein.

Any pointers would be really helpful…

Thanks in advance guys…
