lol this is getting weird your trying way to hard to win at this. ok more irish than italians in philly so they cant be coming from there.

These guidos are not Italians in the sense that I would recognize them, they are Italian-Americans who are so far removed from their Italian culture that they exhibit more of their Americanization than their Italian roots.
I have seen some of this guido shit in all sorts of cultures.
Exactly. I know plenty of Italians that aren’t like that at all, and plenty of douchebags of other races that are just like this.

Just saying. I had a hunch and it turned out to be true. Wasn’t hard to find the data.
I’m not pissed or anything. Just gotta get the facts right.
sure. still it would be silly to say that italians coudln’t be coming from philly(or the surrounding suburbs who often credit themselves as from philly) just because there are/were more irish than italians in philidelphia.
If you think these guys are Italian, then I must be Julius Fucking Caesar.

Yea I know, I was just fuckin’ around there.
Nah I’ve noticed the same thing though, just not sure where they’re all coming from.

The whole guido thing is dying out in town, was very big a couple years ago but even the gweeds we do have are much more mellow. Its not like they walk around day to day all fresh2death, its mostly in the summer an at partys. Also the acting like an asshole stereotypical Guide is just that… acting, me an my boys have done the surfclub thing its fun to let go get fresh act like a jerkoff an get with some skank. All you hating on jersey might wana try it, loosen up a bit.
Btw im polish…duh
i live in nj ans south jersey should be a different state. its much slower paced down here and there is lots of rednecks and woods. i go deer hunting in my back yard(good source of lean protein) the guidos aren’t what give nj a bad rap its the stae legislation and all of the wack criminal chares
check out getoffourisland.com to really laugh. this site explains the whole guido epidemic. if you have a blowout and an orange ‘tan’ you are off to a good start. and don’t forget to pucker those lips before taking a picture…
What IF we built an island and put all the guidos on it… oh wait.
Hey,atleast the Jersey girls look like alot of fun in the sack.

Curious-- What is “South” Jersey to you?

But when you go to places like … Ocean City…

Whenever I’m down there visiting family, I drive to Ocean City to get Mack n Manko’s pizza. Best.
I’ve lived at the shore all my life, and I can say that when north jersey comes down, all hell breaks loose. Here in Monmouth/ocean/atlantic counties you actually have coalitions against those from north jersey. One called “bennys go home” the other is a “locals” type of revolt. I dont think they do anything significant but they sure do get mad. To be honest the jersey shore is tons of old and rich people with beach houses and private beach cabana’s and what not, but no one wants to hear about that. They wanna hear about the guido’s that come to belmar/seaside for whats probably 5miles collectively of beach. Not counting the entire coast line…t

(in reference to the video) I’m speechless… It’s like when I am flipping through channels and Girls Gone Wild comes up or something like that. I just can’t make heads or tales of it. It seems absolutely insane, and not in any good way

South Jersey: Hicks
North Jersey: Guidos
Thing to remember is that most of South Jersey “locals” despise North Jersey much like The_Gunner just mentioned.
The shore is mainly in South Jersey, so as some of you know we consider North Jersey Folk to be Bennies or Shoobies.
Bennie: A person who flashes $100 bills.
Shoobie: A person who carries their lunch in a shoebox.
The people who live at the shore year round love to bitch about out-of-towners but don’t realize that their economy is – in part – dependent on them.
It’s also an atrocity that MTV keeps portraying these types on television and not emphasizing that the locals are typically far from he “guido” type. “Locals” are far more “chill”; a little bit misguided but are less in numbers and typically don’t congregate in drug/techno fueled environments, so they’re not as “loud” or forceful about their misguidedness.
“Guidos” are also at the shore on vacation therefore the effects are amplified.
I have met plenty of these types when they were not on vacation or getting ready to go out with their boys and try to bag some skanks and they honestly aren’t that bad. They’re just regular people, with tans and a lot of cologne.
Another thing to mention:
South Jersey: Typically a strong Irish heritage.
North Jersey/New York: Typically a strong Italian heritage.
Boosh, Central Jersey!

This is certainly not true for the farmlands of Salem, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Atlantic Counties (ie the most southern counties). While there is a notable Irish population, it is overwhelmingly Italian descent and a lot of Slavic/Eastern European. It’s a carry over from the migrations from Italy, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia on the heels of the glass industry and agricultural base. Pick up a phone book from Vineland (Cumberland County), better than half is Italian. My family came over on the boat in the 19-oughts and became lettuce farmers.
A majority of those vegetables in your Campbell’s and Progresso soup are still grown in S.Jersey. And your Heinz ketchup still uses (in part) Jersey tomatoes (the bestest).
^
Jersey Tomatoes are great the only ones Ill eat…fucking amazaing.
