New Jersey: EXACTLY How It Is!

Exactly how it is, unless you live in areas like Mendham, Bernardsville, Basking Ridge, Livingston, Summit, Chatham, Short Hills, etc. etc.

The irony of this stereotype is that NJ is one of the wealthiest states in the country, and obviously that wouldn’t be the case if these mentally challenged dipshits were the main population.

Hey I’ll fuck some joysey girls.

I threw up my oatmeal. There are certain things you aren’t supposed to see in the morning…

I live in north-central Jersey and travel all over for work. Jersey is actually a pretty great place to live with incredible diversity and a high standard of living. Too bad shows like Sopranos and Jersey Shore bring down the image. But the guidos don’t bother me. It’s the high taxes and corrupt politicians that get my fur up!

Everytime I read about a bust of some crooked official it amazes me how GREED-Y and STU-PID these guys are! To me it’s far more embarassing than the guidos. (Although South Carolina takes the cake lately)

Nice try brother. Here in Illinois, we have had two of the past five governors end up in jail and a third is awaiting trial. The moral quality of our politicians cannot be beat…

Stick to your web-fingered compatriots, huh Georgia? Don’t pollute our gene pool.

I sat across from the Mayor of Hoboken exactly one week before he got arrested. Talk about funny… I thought he was a douche, and then the next week I see him walking out in handcuffs. It was supremely ironic.

I know one thing, with all those Irish and Italians in Jersey, there must be a shitload of attitude there. That, and a hell of alot of drinking.

Have you guys seen the commercial for MTV’s new show “Jersey Shore?” Supposedly following the lives of 8 people (both guidos and guidas) coming in December I think. Is this an accurate representation, or just another played up TV show?

See, it depends. There really are people like that here. However, they maybe make up 1-2% of the entire state. Also a lot of the guido population that you will see comes from New York. They come down for the summer, act like idiots, and give everyone else a bad name. MTV will no doubt hype the show up to be something crazy and encourage stupid behavior.

And to be honest, I’ll probably watch it.

I don’t see too many guidos around my area of NJ (Cherry Hill).
But in my once quiet neighborhood, there seems to be all at once a collection of REDNECK ASSHOLES that feel the need to let everyone know they exist by revving their LOUD pick-up trucks at all hours of the day and night.

And these guys aren’t kids… or in their 20s for that matter. They’re late 30s and mid 40s.

OK, Piney, I know Estell Manor well. I grew up in Cumberland County, a few miles south and west of there. Used to camp and get wasted in Estell Manor Park. That’s serious south (toothless) Jersey!

For those not familiar with that part of Jersey, “Deliverance” could have been shot there. If you doubt the ‘ruralness’ of S.Jersey, “Google Map” – “Estell Manor, NJ” and zoom in!

Is Ponzio’s still in Cherry Hill? That place ROCKED (at least when I was a kid). And Sam Ash Music! lol.

And on a quiet night, you can still hear the banjos.
lol

Yep, SD. Ponzio’s is still there, with the same great menu and huge portions!
Sam Ash is still there as well, but with stiff competition from Guitar Center just 4 doors down. My son gets all his bass guitar stuff from there.
