Do you ever have those days where you think to yourself: “Darn, I sure wish I had syphilis.”?
Well look no further…

Oh, and I live in Croatia, right across the Mediterranean from Italy… imagine what it is like for me during the summer when all the real tools come over and start creeping all over ours girls. Kind of makes it hard for a normal dude to make an impression.

Yea I guess. I never heard of that guy though. Nor have I heard of you.
South Jersey: Hicks
North Jersey: Guidos
Thing to remember is that most of South Jersey “locals” despise North Jersey much like The_Gunner just mentioned.
The shore is mainly in South Jersey, so as some of you know we consider North Jersey Folk to be Bennies or Shoobies.
Bennie: A person who flashes $100 bills.
Shoobie: A person who carries their lunch in a shoebox.
The people who live at the shore year round love to bitch about out-of-towners but don’t realize that their economy is – in part – dependent on them.
It’s also an atrocity that MTV keeps portraying these types on television and not emphasizing that the locals are typically far from he “guido” type. “Locals” are far more “chill”; a little bit misguided but are less in numbers and typically don’t congregate in drug/techno fueled environments, so they’re not as “loud” or forceful about their misguidedness.
“Guidos” are also at the shore on vacation therefore the effects are amplified.
I have met plenty of these types when they were not on vacation or getting ready to go out with their boys and try to bag some skanks and they honestly aren’t that bad. They’re just regular people, with tans and a lot of cologne.
Another thing to mention:
South Jersey: Typically a strong Irish heritage.
North Jersey/New York: Typically a strong Italian heritage.
To say that North Jersey has only a strong Italian heritage is stupid. There are many, many Irish here (some still coming over even), there are many Jews, Polish, Puerto Ricans, all kinds of Hispanics as well. Meangenes is purveying a stereotype that is wholly untrue.
And I actually know a couple of the people in that video, sad to say. They’re not shining examples of humanity to be sure, but those people are actually from very specific areas of the state that are loaded with Italians- Bayonne, Nutley, Belleville, etc.
The state is NOT full of them, and the majority of us fucking hate them. Once you get out of the Newark-Jersey City area, the number of them drops quickly. 3/4 of the state, including the mountainous Northern section and the Pineys down south, would lynch these things as soon as they saw them.
As Meangenes said though, MTV is big on pushing this stereotype… it is entertaining to people in other parts of teh country to watch coked up juiceheads dance like faggots and fight each other.
But who the fuck watches MTV anymore?
And by the way, this crowd is attraced to only certain points down the shore. They like Belmar (which is kind of funny cause the Irish cops down there hate Italians), they like Seaside, etc.
But when you go to places like Pt. Pleasant, Brick, Cape May, Ocean City… these dirtbags are nowhere to be found.
So basically, if you find them, you were looking for them.
Yeah FI I try and avoid Seaside myself. As far as guido douche bag culture, that shit migrated from those fags in NYC.
keep it classy jersey…as if long island is any better, lol

common misunderstanding. guido’s or “gweeds”, as we are now refering to them in parts of jersey, now come in all nationalities.

not sure what part of south jersey you once lived in but a huge population of italian philladelphians have been moving into south jersey and it is strongly italian. also i really dont see many hicks down here. they are here, just outnumbered greatly.
the biggest difference ive seen between north and south jersey: the north is a giant extension of new york city, the south of philladelphia.

"Each county’s largest ethnic group, according to the 2000 Census, is:
Italian â?? Passaic, Bergen, Union, Hudson, Morris, Somerset, Middlesex, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, Cumberland[31]
Irish â?? Sussex, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cape May [31]
German â?? Warren, Hunterdon, Salem (followed by Irish, English, then Italian)[31]"
Starting to see a correlation here? I can do this all day.
PS where’s Philladelphia? And who are these Philladelphians? Pazman would be ashamed.
These guidos are not Italians in the sense that I would recognize them, they are Italian-Americans who are so far removed from their Italian culture that they exhibit more of their Americanization than their Italian roots.
I have seen some of this guido shit in all sorts of cultures.

woah slow down i wasnt attacking you. a typo is a typo is a typo relax. dont bring paz into this.
further more the census is done every ten years. as someone living here i dont need to even look at the census to tell you the italian population has been rising.
also i assumed by hick you meant lower class white person. seeing as you put a population chart, im now thinking you were saying a hick is someone who lives in a more rural area?
