Okay, so in the next two months there are going to be some major releases for the 360, including:
[u]Madden 09:[/u] You all know what to expect with this game.
[u]Too Human:[/u] Just played the demo, it’s awesome. It’s the first installment of an ‘epic trilogy’ set in the future, and chronicles a conflict between cybernetic Norse gods. (Hell yes.)
[u]Infinite Undiscovery:[/u] An RPG with a lot of hype built up around it. Created by the same makers of all the Final Fantasies, the game puts into a real world where a lot of your choices and actions will shape the outcome of the story.
And finally…
[u]Star Wars - The Force Unleashed:[/u] One of the few ‘officially’ endorsed Star Wars games by George Lucas himself. The game lets you control Darth Vader’s ‘secret apprentice,’ and serves as an explanation of many things that happened between Episode III and Episode IV. You can use all sorts of force powers for some bad-ass things, (i.e. picking up fleet ships in a hangar and throwing them at a group of people, killing them all.)
So, I know there’s some gamers around here. Anyone else interested in these, or any other games coming out soon?
Too Human and Star Wars Unleashed as you mentioned.
The new Prince of Persia is looking really good. I’m digging the art stlye and freedom of movement.
Mirror’s Edge is very promising. I was skeptical about the first person perspective, but after watching acouple of vid I think it will work out great.
Afro Samurai didn’t get alot of attention at E3, but looks like it could be great. It will utilizing the same Euphoria Engine that Star Wars Unleashed is built off of. This will allow sword cuts to actully dismember your opponents where they are cut as opposed to relying on a preset segmentation like in Ninja Gaiden II. RZA from Wu Tang Clan is setting the score, Samuel L Jackson will be the voice of Afro and Ninja Ninja.

Hell yeah it is! It took a while to download, but it’s a demo somewhere between 30-40 minutes, so you’ll get a good bit of playtime. The controls take a little bit to get use to, but it’s flawless when you get the feel of it.

Cool! I’ll download it when I get home tonight. I’ve been looking forward to it for a while, so it will be nice to give it a try before it comes out.
It seems like there are always tons of games coming out that I want to try. Every month I get my GameInformer and there never fails to be like 5-6 games in every issue that I want really bad. Only it seems like they never come out or get pushed back indefinitely.
Force Unleashed should be really cool. I just hope the Force isn’t too easy to use and it’s a breeze to get through the game.
Speaking of Star Wars, I’ve been thinking about picking up Knights Of The Old Republic for the 360 (it’s backwards compatible).
Madden 09: don’t rush out and buy it. Game is shipping with bugs and the CPU QB completes 90% of his passes most games. There’s no CPU sliders, either, so it’s not something that can be fixed like in previous years.

I can’t recommend KOTOR highly enough. That was probably my favorite game for the original XBOX.

I was thiking that same thing about Star Wars. They generally tend to be a bit easier, I usually set the difficult to hard.
I never played KOTOR, but I did play KOTOR II. That game was the fucking shit… That’s why Mass Effect was a good play.
And about Madden, that’s pretty shitty, but I’m sure EA will make a patch that’s automatic when you play it signed in to XBL, so hopefully it won’t be an issue. I’ll look into it, though.

I’m kind of worried about The Force Unleashed difficulty too. I don’t want it to be some game I can just breeze through in a day.
All three of those games (KOTOR, KOTOR II and Mass Effect) are great! I rank them in the following order.

I couldnt agree with Vader more!! Maybe the highest replay value of any RPG ever!! And on that front I cant wait for the KOTOR MMO but that will be at the least a year or 2( closer to 2)
I think the Ghost Busters game will be cool as they will be voiced by the origonal cast

I think it will be similar to Jedi Outcast, and hope you can pick your difficulty Padawan, Jedi, Jedi Knight, and Jedi Master.
O and I have made up my mind, unless they announce a FULL PC version with all the physics engines and stuff but until then I plan on using my family and friends for their Xbox 360s

See that’s what I’m talking about. Every time I pick up a magazine, I see adds for games like Fallout 3, MK vs Marvel and Ultimate Alliance 2. There always seems to be something cool coming out, but who knows when?
