Eminem was never hip hop
he has always sucked
he got popular off shock value and thats it
he is only cool to jr high school kids
he hs no moe effect on the crowd that made him popular
i admit loving the dude back in the day, because anytim anyone said fag or retard i would laugh my ass off-but not now, his music is really immature, i see why people were hating him whe he came out- he truly is talentless
i think if i made a cd of me just shouting curse words i could sell a slew of records just to 12 to 17 year olds and be just as famous as he is( k, well maybe not that famous, but ya get what i’m sayin)
but not now, his music is really immature, i see why people were hating him whe he came out- he truly is talentless

100% true. I’m glad I’m not the only one who could see it.
first of all, Ct. Rockula is a chick
and my $.02
Typically i listen to punk rock/metal. Em is the only hip hop artist i listen to because his lyrics pump the fuck out of me more then any other artist in the gym.
The guy is bad ass.
Maybe I’m the only one but this song is pretty funny. If we can get another song like soldier or square dance I would be happy. Apparently he has a song with Jay-Z on this album too so that should be good.

Agreed, i feel embarresed for him. Can’t believe Dre and Fifty didnt sit him down and say " dawg! that voice is fucking annoying"
Wow a whole 4page thread about Eminem.
I think he’s right up there with the best of them lyrically. That being said, I’m not a fan. I don’t listen to him constantly, mostly because I forget that he actually has good songs too. These kinds of songs that he puts out as his first singles to a new album suck in my opinion and they are the reason I forget.
I respect his game, it’s just that he doesn’t play up to his potential that often. Same happens with Jay-Z, though in a different way. Jay to me might be the best, most consistent rapper ever (Only because Biggie’s time was cut short), but it seems that he doesn’t have the enthusiasm for top notch performance all the time.
It’s like Kobe having a 15-point night; good for most, but not for him. Nas is right up there with Jay too but his choice of beats, and loss of focus is sometimes is horrible that it takes away from his value.
Funny ass video, not a ‘good song’
but at least it gave that Pornstar Lisa Ann a chance to dress up as Sara “nailin’” Palin!! (other then the Oral Office video she put out) It was talked about in Playboy…what?

50 is another rapper who could be so much better if he did some stuff differently. Like not be such an asshole. Get rich or die tryin was a good album, some of his stuff before that was even better.
Eminem was the first artist i ever liked (i was 6 at the time) so I might be partial but i think he is the best hip-hop artist ever,he has thought and feelings in his songs unlike 50 cent or some others who try to psychologically stroke their egos with their songs…

Listen to more hip-hop and rap, not just what you hear over the radio…
