That is frigging cool on several different levels.
Seeing some guy in the sticks of Texas talking about a compelling character like Conan - that lives in a completely different world and that he just thought up in his head - is amazing…

He didn’t just think him up in the movie. She asks him to tell her about his character Conan then Vincent D’Onofrio launches into an uncharacteristically badly-acted speech while losing control of his arms.
Not the best representation of the man or the character.

If you watch the entire feature, John Milius describes what kind of mental state of mind Howard was in when he wrote Conan.

I mean - it looks like it could be a kick ass movie, but come on he’s wearing eye liner.
Seriously, Eyeliner. I don’t even put makeup on for halloween and its my favorite holiday.
That’s just make-up to make him look more like the character. The character “Conan” isn’t going around Hyborea putting eyeliner before he kills. All actors and actress wear some kind of make-up for the camera.
Come on, bro. That wasn’t a good excuse. Just see the movie.

So are you getting kick backs from the studio or something?
And if you’re wondering I should be seeing it on opening night!

I don’t kickbacks, but I support anything that I believe in. The more propaganda I sell to you people, the more I convert. And when the time comes where there’s Sex and the City 3 or a second Glee movie, there will also be a Conan the Barbarian sequel ready and waiting to defend us.

“Awwww man…where’d I put that blusher?” =/

Haters gonna hate. Crom laughs at your insolence.
“BLUSHER?!! By CROM Conan, the fate of humanity rests on this battle!!! Future generations, spanning THOUSANDS of years, will either be sticking out forked tongues and slithering along the ground or walking proud on their own two feet - screwing warm wimmin and spilling red blood!!!”
“Hmmmmm…too pink you think? Should I try the peach?”
I’m still a little “Arnold or gtfo” about Conan, and I don’t even watch Conan O’Brein for this reason, but hell I’ll probably end up watching the movie.

I think he looks kinda sexy, Lou.
True ID True - If we were locked up and cellies, he have to sit down when he pee’d. All that long pretty hair and those sexy dark mysterious eyes - Call me Daddy Conan, Daddy!!! lol
