New Business Failures

Well that bum is the most popular politician in the states. Denmark has a higher effective tax rate than the U.S. and more extensive social policies, right?

So Co-Ops are communism?

Do you even know what communism is?

I don’t know. It’s not like I care for politicians in the first place.

Yes. So?

Just because a politician says they are a Bernie supporter doesn’t mean it’s so.

What proposals is he supporting? What did he support before Sanders moved the party left? Maybe he is just jumping on the bandwagon.

Where in the article did it mention a socialist government? Was the U.S.S.R. a socialist government?

Do you even have any idea what socialism is? I really don’t think you do.

I can’t be bothered. He’s free to do whatever he wants.

Yes. If the authors have any understanding of the subject they are speaking of or integrity at all.

Words do not simply mean whatever you want them to at the time you make a wish. They have definitions that are important to know and understand.

ā€œSocial causesā€, ā€œsocial policyā€, and ā€œwelfareā€ can all be used to refer to programs designed to help the less fortunate. ā€œSocialismā€ is a defined thing, it is not the same nor can it be used interchangeably with the above. Anybody who does so exposes either their ignorance or their dishonesty.

Wow, more propaganda. Designed to keep you unaware of how the ruling class is screwing you over with the help of their paid for lackeys in Congress. If the ruling class wants to leave let’em.

So maybe the Nordic countries don’t have socialism in it’s strictest sense, but they do have a stronger social system. Maybe it’s social democracy. If their system works better than ours, it ought to be adopted and made better.

Does the tax rate cost more than the capitalist leanings of America? Take single-payer as an example. You may pay more in taxation but less overall as you are not paying premiums etc.

Still wrong. Always wrong. You’re a shill for alt left propaganda.

Affiliate link math rejecting lazy shill.

None of what you wrote here is an argument or even attempts to refute anything in said ā€œpropagandaā€ - point out where anything in that sophomoric video is inaccurate.

Stop obfuscating and deflecting with your appeal to ridicule tactic. It’s boring and makes you look weak - well, your argument IS weak hence the tactic but still … if you want to make a point, do so - if you want to ridicule, you’ll be treated as the clown you are…

So take an average middle class income of 60 k. Per year and impose the Nordic tax structure- 60%. That’s 36,000 dollars. Now subtract from that our typical tax burden of 30%. Or 18,000 dollars.

That’s $18,000 more per year, with all of the same cost burdens typical to that social strata, just minus $18,000.

That would completely fuck the entire population.

Propaganda tends to be state sponsored. This is a teenager trying to break complex ideas down for his millennial lefty peers. Not exactly Goebbles.

How’s Venezuela doing? Cuba?

Remember they face a lot of different headwinds than the US. They don’t pay for defense. They have a mostly homogeneous population (in terms of culture, race and language) and they aren’t all fat sedentary people.

I’m with you on the low corporate taxes part of the nordic model. Corporations don’t pay taxes anyway, the customers, investors and employees of those corporations ultimately shoulder the burdens of taxation. People always pay the taxes, corporate taxation is just a lie and obfuscation to have something to rile the peasants up over.

Here’s where I’ve got you though. The reason the individual income taxes in the Nordic Model collect so much revenue is because (drumroll) they are significantly less progressive than in the USA. They are way flatter. Someone who makes $60k in Denmark pays the top marginal rate of 60%!

The VAT taxes are hidden, insidious and stupid. Nobody anywhere should want a VAT.

So what you’re saying when you want the Nordic model is: ā€œWe need to triple income tax rates on the working classes, place a 25% regressive tax on purchased goods and lower the rates corporations pay.ā€ @Zeppelin795 -2018

If Bernie were honest about copying the nordic model, that’s what he’d be advocating. There’s something in there for every one of our 325 million citizens to be pissed about.

I remember when the tax for the ACA kicked in at my sons daycare and all of those hens started clucking about how much was missing from their paychecks. They were actually complaining to Me about it and saying they need a raise. I said to the one woman ā€œYou asked for it. You didn’t actually think it was Free health care, did you?ā€. She did.

Then my daycare cost went up $200.00/ month. So many people dropped their kids from there they had to let a few workers go. I simply reiterated " You asked for it, free healthcare!".

Man, I was just having a conversation about how people really can’t think past stage 1 - how this shit WILL affect them. This just reinforces that notion …

He did say ā€œmade betterā€.

Get rid of the crap. Keep their lower corporate tax rates and the more capitalist economy with less government involvement.

They’re just too dumb. Some of the conversations I had with people about this were shockingly stupid.

Who knew healthcare could be so complicated?!?
