New Business Failures

Don’t tomcats kill kittens so the female goes back into heat? Not very progressive if them.

Not when they’ve been NEUTERED!

Your version of an answer, which isn’t an answer at all.

Such as…which socialist government.

So the public is being fucked over again for more profits.

So at least you admit that the system we are under leads to a system with cartel-like behavior. So why do you deny it happens in the industry you work in? An industry that limits choice and makes people suffer in an effort to maximize profits.

Sure, because you said so.

I don’t shop at Walmart. At least you admit to the role of corporate America trying to limit competition.

And how does this typically work out in Co-Ops?

No, because math says so.

But you DO shop at exclusively non co ops, right?

Also no shit companies try to limit competition. So do co ops. So does every business model

Does more work justify the CEO pay and compensation package?

Does it do so at the expense of the public? Is profits over people their guiding principle?

Simple, same as everywhere else. Aggressive type A achiever people will make a compelling case for increased compensation. While the meek and/or the incompetent will be paid less.

First of all, you don’t know balls about business. Tell me who “the public” is. How many registered companies are there in the US? How many industries are there? How are ALL or even the majority of these companies “fucking the public”? Are they doing it collectively? Is a private graphic design company comprising of 5 directors, each having the same amount of shares, has no other employees or engages solely independant contractors and does mostly B2B projects with the goal of profit maximization fucking “the public”?

Second, it depends on the type of co-op and the industry.

Unless every single working person in the entire country is employed/a member of a single giant co-op encompassing all industries, there has to be a goal of profit maximization, or price suppression on the buyng end, to ensure the survival of each co-op in the presence of competition.

How would you achieve the former without forcing ALL competitors out of the market through either monopolistic or cartel-like activities?

Why are you having such a hard time understanding this, zep?

God damn it, this train wreck…

Classic Zep, this is why I can’t stay away.

  1. Co-ops are “private businesses”
  2. Comparing the success rate of 150 co-ops over a decade and then extrapolating that out to mean they are more successful than “private businesses” is laughably absurd even for you.
  3. Co-ops, like every other business type, will only survive if consumers support them monetarily.
  4. If you had a single ounce of conviction in your body you’d go out of your way to support co-ops. I couldn’t care less how a business is organized and I support two co-ops without any effort what-so-ever.

Citizens United has nothing to do with whether or not a C Corps is a legal entity or a living entity.

Briefly, my understanding of Citizens United is that political spending was held to be a form of free speech and as a legal entity corporations can use free speech to influence an election (as can anyone), but cannot directly fund a campaign.

Ya, I’m aware of the implications of automation.

I don’t believe I’ve ever posted a “study” that says single-payer costs more. It does cost more. I know this because I know how math works.

One of your problems, is you don’t have an analytical bone in your body. You think the per capita cost in country ____ is X and the per capita cost in country _____ is Y so X is cheaper than Y. That’s not how the world works and this has been explained to you, repeatedly, but you enjoy being ignorant because you want single-payer. That’s fine for you, but that’s not how I operate.

Noam Chomsky “This isn’t real socialism” Okay, boss, what’s real socialism.

Ding ding ding

The absurdity continues.

Because (generally):
1)They limit treatment options
2)They have a shortage of doctors, beds, etc…
3)They have astronomical tax rates
4)They don’t pay for their own defense
5)They’re in significant debt (as high if not higher than ours)
6)They service a smaller more homogeneous populations
7)They don’t have millions of illegal immigrants straining their system
8)They have absurd wait-times
9)They’re not as fat as we are and all the adverse health conditions that come with that.
10) 500 othe reasons.

This isn’t what people have been saying to you for years now. Whether what they’re doing is right or wrong is a matter of perspective. IT BEING CHEAPER is what people are constantly correcting you over.

It’s not, though. Your reading comprehension problems, once again, are causing you problems.

What’s the dominant form of business?

Whut? Co-ops can offer cheaper prices because they typically cut out the middleman, what middleman? Any business model can “cut out the middleman”.

Of course, it is. Their shareholders are just different than “investors”. They’re the members of the co-op and their customers.

No, it wasn’t. Are you fucking serious right now? Do you have dementia?

Agreed and that’s what you do all the time.

Will it be pegged to deflation too?
