The healthcare industry works together for profits above all else. Pharma works with Insurance who works with them and other facets of the industry. It is not one facet of the industry vs. another. I know this is incredibly difficult for you to understand but it is the way this industry, among others, works.
This is not tap dancing it is merely understanding that sometimes it is not as black and white as you propose.

It depends on your perspective. If your insurance doesn’t cover things like stem cells (and almost none of them do), it’s a very large up front out of pocket expense. This results in people taking small personal loans to cover the cost.
As a guy who spent 5 years doing foreclosed home inspections in my metro during college, I can tell you the payoff rate of medical loans isn’t great. Enter crippling debt etcetc.
