I had to re-read the section twice, maybe 3 times, to figure out that “5’s PRO” in the tables starting on page 51 is an abbreviation of the progression shown on page 50. As prominent as it is in the following pages, I think it deserved more explanation.
As explained IN THE BOOK as well as in the promo for the book, 531 Forever is for people who have a grasp on the 5/3/1 program. I made this very, very clear. I should have had people take a blood oath.
5’s PRO has been talked about for years and was already talked about in the Beyond books.
It’s also hardly complicated - you can’t get much more simple than this.
My focus this year is boxing, so I do a seriously basic 2 day a week 5/3/1. 5/3/1 deads and FSL squats 5x5, and the other day switch them around. Only deload week if really tired from boxing. Also 5x5 MP both days. Crazy simple and all lifts are going up and I can still focus on boxing. Less can be more.
I run 3’s Pro and I love it. 3 has always been a sweet spot for me,… What,s the big deal.
