Now that there is a Gear section, I’m REALLY hoping we’ll see some Biotest shaker bottles, baseball hats, or something else! Haha I already own most of the T-shirt designs so I want something new.

Back in the day, they used to send you a t-shirt, or a naglene bottle, and a copy of the print version of T-Mag.
We have 2 of the bottles, and pretty much all of the t-shirts.

Reading this, I was wondering why T-Nation/Biotest doesn’t sell branded water bottles. Probably because they couldn’t sell enough to justify buying a small quantity of them.
Then it hit me: a number of people are going to be looking for new BPA free water bottles in the near future. Now is the time, if anything.

However, why did the ZMA description change from “Anabolic Mineral Support Formula” to “Metabolic Mineral Support Formula”?
Anabolic is far cooler.

Quite true, steroids will kill you right quick.
But, it still says “Anabolic” on the bottle. Or is that being changed too?
“Grow!” being changed to “Metabolic Drive” made sense, but “Anabolic” to “Metabolic”? I’ll be calling bullshit on that one.

Yes, but if Metabolic Drive came in a pink bottle, I’d still use it. Se7en is advertised for ladies, but I’d totally use that (haven’t yet). If they can sell more product while keeping the focus on innovative and quality products, all the power to them.
Also, my mom was having some trouble sleeping, so I suggested she try ZMA. Obviously when I showed her the bottle, she kind of freaked out until I explained that it was just some specific minerals and vitamins (in one awesome package!). She liked it after that.

My wife saw my bottle of Biotest ZMA a couple years ago, and said “doesn’t anabolic mean steroids”?
After I finished beating her with a frying pan, I explained to her what the term anabolic means, and how ignorant anyone is who thinks that it’s synonymous with steroids or somehow inherently bad.
Now we have 1 less ‘anabolic’ ignorant person in the world. I’m not in favor of reinforcing stupidity and misinformation by changing the wording of things in order not to ‘frighten’ people.
However, it’s not my business that’s on the line, so Biotest is free to do as they wish.
