I see it has something called “Carbolin 19 base” which is described as forskolin from Coleus forskohlii extract…but this isn’t the same thing as the original Carbolin 19 formula. Carbolin 19 was a carbonate ester of forskolin…it looks like Carbolin 19 base is just an extract of forksolin itself.
Carbonate was supposed to make the forkskolin extract more bioavailable and potent…so why is Biotest taking a step backwards and just using the extract? Curious minds want to know.
And why is Carbolin 19 continually out of stock? Same thing with Receptormax…what the heck is going on? I bet: Carbolin 19 is going bye bye…just like Caffeine-Free Spike.

There was an extreme worldwide shortage of forskolin due to crop failure. New material is now available but, for large bulk purchase, it was extracts that became available as supply restarted. Manufacturing the carbonate ester requires pure forskolin.
The dosage has been increased to compensate as best as possible for the temporary change. While this increases manufacturing cost, we wanted to maintain performance as closely as possible.
You are right: even with the increased dosage, the Carbolin 19 is better. I think you will be satisfied with the current product though.
The above is also the reason that the Carbolin 19 product is out of stock.

Carbolin 19 is one of the few non-nutritional supplements that actually works. It is a great product depending upon the dosages used. Because I am no longer using steroids, Carbolin 19 became one of those products that I felt was a must.
It being out of stock for so frickin’ long was beginning to infuriate me…no steroid rage induced mind you, ha ha (sarcasm…for those of you so quick to point out that most “rages” are not really due to the sauce to begin with)!
And Bill, I consider you one of the living breathing gurus on anabolics and exotic biological chemicals…you need to change your avatar to reflect that. A molecule or something seems MUCH more in line.
