Ink for a warmup, i would just use the bands with the bar and do a few sets there for cns activation. I actually find it harder to balance just the bar with bands than with weights added to it.

Choke them around the dumbbells, it will make em tighter. How tall are you? That does make a difference.

haha I meant you. Youre gonna have to play around with and get creative with your set up cause of your height. Ive got about over half a foot on you, so just choking the bands makes it tight for me.

DF, yeah i’ll have to play around with that, one thing i could do is go to my golds gym and use minis attached to the safety rack.

Done, i felt like like complete shit. My sinuses are really pissed at me and i’ve had a headache for most of the day as well. My plan was to at least get the ME work in and keep volume low, i think i’ll keep that approach the rest of the week depending on how i feel. If i continue to feel like crap, i’ll probably just take the rest of the week off and just sleep as much as possible.

ME bench: Bench with slingshot felt pretty light last week, and i got my own slingshot so i thought i would go for another pr and break mine in.

Bench with slingshot:13510,13510,2253, added slingshot and wraps2751,3151,3651,375*1(pr)I missed the groove pretty good this time, but i was still able to get it.

Jm press:7510,12510,1758, 7510(nosebusters),10(jm presses)

Meadows one arm tbar rows:4510,9010,13510,1806(started to get hard because the plates were pressing up against my forearms),90*10(really strict and for feel)

Pinwheel curls:3010,5010,70*10

Done, felt pretty decent today. So hopefully i’ll continue this progress and saturday will be another great lifting day and that will hopefully carry over into next week and beyond.

My heels would be hard pressed(no pun intended) to reach the floor somewhat comfortably. I will try to experiment more with foot placement next week on DE day and see what i can come up with.

I would guess it gives about 10% ish.

Oh, you’d know if you were vaccinated. It’s 6 shots (or, it used to be) in the ass cheek or arm (you choice) and each one burns like the fire of 1000 suns.

On the “heels to the floor” tip from DF, you don’t need to make contact with the floor, just the action of you forcing your heels down helps lock your body into position. At least, that’s what I read Dave Tate had said about it.

And the slingshot looks like it’s somewhat the same idea as if you take a mini band and form it into an “8” with an arm through each loop and the band across your chest. That seem right?

Ink that just might work, though i would use one of the thinner longer bands, maybe the monsters or the red long bands. I would think the 41 inch ones would be the ones you would need.

I think that bench is high compared to comp benches, maybe put plates under your feet for better leg drive? Comp benches are 42-45 cm high (literally just learned that today in the PL forum haha)

Trav, you may be right. I’ve thought about putting weights or a step up for my feet, but i don’t have any good flat plates to use and i’m just lazy and don’t go looking for them on bench day.

DE lower: Squats felt like i was about to bottom out, but they are still high. I need to continue to work on my core, hip and glute/posterior chain. I need to sit up taller at the bottom of a squat, i lean forward way too much.

Squats with bands:1352,2252,2252,2252,2252,2252 As i said these felt so damn low, but i still need to get lower.

Deads with bands:1552,2552,2552,2552,2552,2552 Felt slow today, video looks slow too. Probably going to lighten them up next week.

Glute ham raise:3*5 with bodyweight.

Done, got a little too amped pre workout and hit the wall alot sooner than normal, but kept on truckin. Everything felt pretty slow as well.

Tried to get heels on floor, but floor was too dirty and they kept slipping, toes tucked underneath me seems to feel pretty good, just need to remember to get good let drive.
