Thanks Ink, i appreciate that bud. Gonna keep workin on my weaknesses and do my best to allow my hamstring/glute tiein injury that i’ve been dealing with for about 10 months to heal. Once my insurance kicks in this fall for school, i’m going to seriously consider seeing a doctor about it to see what exactly it could be.

Leg training: This week will be a bit of deload, that sorta started this last thursday. I strained my neck in one of those fluke instances. No issues today though.

Squats against bands:13510,13510, added the red long bands, 1355,2253,3153,3153,3153 walked out 4951 no belt for these, still have a hard time keeping the chest up at bottom.

Then db flys:3012,3012,3012,30*12 slow controlled contractions, slight pause at bottom.

Then incline db flys:2512,2512,2512,2512 pecs were on fire, could barely do the last 4 reps.

Well it turned into a prolonged deload for me last week and into this week. I took my car in to get the head gaskets replaced, turned out i had two cracks on them and the shop had to specialty order the parts so instead of two days without a car it stretched into a full week.

Done, i have a sense of peace i haven’t had for a full week. Felt good to get back in the gym. School started this week as well so trying to find the best times that i can get in the gym. Going to go back to doing squats and deads on the same day, followed by bench day, then back and deadlift accessories, and a shoulders and arm day. That will allow me to put in the time to be able to do suited squat training on sundays and spend the 2 hours or so for that.

Squats and deads training: Tried to break in my new metal pro briefs and i was a mile high on the squats, but i’ll add more weight next week and i should be a little closer. I’m also still breaking in my belt as well, and that is why i have it out like i did in the video. I also need a few holes drilled so i can get it tighter. These briefs are much nicer on the legs and hips as well, they don’t bite nearly as bad as my centurian briefs do as well.

Squats:13510,1355, put briefs on and belt, 13552or3 sets, maybe an inch or two down for each rep, 2255, 3153,4053 by now i was starting to get down a little farther and the briefs were almost all the way on,4953(vid), as i said above they were still a ways from parallel, but closer. Will put more weight on next week and should get a little closer. Walked out 585*1, did not get tight enough at the start and as result my chest collapsed and it was much harder than it needed to be.

Deads:1355,2253,3152,4052, no belt or straps, felt okay, focused hard on pulling back rather than standing or “squatting” it which i feel has led me to stifflegging it too much. I will be doing more rack or block pull work on wednsday.

Ink, i was already a few inches wider than i normally squat raw. I think i was wide enough, but thanks for the tip though. I think i just need more weight because i was able to get more depth as i added more weight. I know that was what it took with my centurian briefs and suit, it took at least 500lbs for me to reach depth. We’ll see how it goes in the coming weeks as well.

Bench training: Well getting in my blast shirt was a failure. I think i’m too big for the shirt i got. It was fairly easy to get on with a little help and fairly easy to get off with a little help, but it doesn’t come down far enough(there were several inches from bottom of shirt and my waistband area), and it felt like a rope around my chest as well. Maybe that second part is how it is supposed to be, not sure though. I will probably try at least once more to get it to work because i know it is supposed to fit tightly. Oh well, at best it was 40 well spent, at worst a 40 experiment.

Reverse band bench looked wicked easy bro, nice work. Deficit pulls are a funky feeling exercise, aren’t they? You still got about 4" to break parallel on those squats, but you know that you’re high. Looks like you had no trouble coming out of the hole on them, and LWI like it was nothing. You’ll be squatting over 9000 to the floor in no time man.

As far as meets, i’m not sure right now. There aren’t very many around here. The next one that i am aware of is in march. That one would be a push pull meet. I dont know yet, but if i can find a full meet that is fairly close and i have the time to do it, that would be hard to pass up if i’m healthy.

Back training: I got a fucking cramp through my R serratus/rhomboid and lat region earlier today. I hate those fucking things, makes it hard to breath or do much of anything with my back. I had shit to do for training so i blocked it out of my head with the knowledge that i would either feel much worse after or much better. I feel much better.
