if you want increase gaba, go suplement gaba or just go keto. Ketones help in conversion from glutamate do Gaba. They are two’s opposite neurotransmitters, if gaba is high, glutamate is low or they can stay fairly equal. But if you are type 1A or 3 dont go keto, because naturally your seretonin baseline is low, and low carb diet make it even lower, so you will have depression like syndrom, anxiety, etc.
by the way how look neurological profile of type 1B??
I am neurotype 3,but what is werid about me i really like lift heavy weight, max effort sessions are my favourite type of training. By the way when i was younger i maxed out in squat pretty everyday, sometimes twice a day and i could regenerate from it pretty well, but that is best type of training for 1A like CT told so theoratically it should not work form me, beacuse I am type 3, but worked, . What is wrong about that? In addition type 3 have some problem with gain fat in one region, espacially in abdominal region what’s said CT, but in my case i gain weight all over the body, not in one region. I gain fat, muscle from the legs to the face and building muscle for me is not so hard how they write about that.
Thanks
lou seemed and CT wrote that 3 and 1a are pretty similar in neurological profile, but about that should tell expert
If you are a type 3 and thrive on high intensity training (by that I mean heavy weights, not how hard you push a set) and you objectively made great gains from that, then it could be possible that you’re one of the lucky few type 3’s with the ACTN RR gene.
Having this gene basically means you are genetically blessed with more fast twitch muscle fibers, which is very rare. Type 3’s are normally more slow twitch dominant, with a decent amount of type IIa fibers and a little bit of IIx at best. If you have the ACTN RR gene, you have a lot more potential to develop type IIX muscle fibers and become a great powerful beast.
That is why, as a type 3, if you have the gene you can respond very well to heavy lifting and have a lot more growth potential than would normally be the case (provided you optimize training, sleep and nutrition).
Some fitness experts claim that hormones are responsible for fat distribution on your body. I am more inclined to believe that it is mostly determined by your genetics.
yeah, but i always was the slowest guy in the club, the worst speed marker in any test, so i dont have fast twitch fibers or perhaps I am “slow” powerlifter like Dave Tate said about it. So where is answer?
thanks
I remember one time that I had Max effort squat where concatric phase lasts 6-7sec -![]()
This is video of myself, Max effort squat few years ago
Wow, that is really definition “slow powerlifter” but is slow powerlifter who run slow Has fast twitch fibers?
I like lift heavy weight, very often, sometimes two times per day and i feel awesome after that, i am so productive, etc. But I am type 3 and always was the slowest in the class etc. WEIRD.
Are There any expert?
How will you plan MAX EFORT session for type 3?
Do you even do that or not?
Bruh you’re a type 2A, you can probably get away with anything in regards to training, at least for a while. Don’t get so hung up on what a type 3 should do. If you like pushing things and your sets to the max, check out Fortitude Training by Scott Stevenson or DC training by Dante Trudel. I think you’ll get some good gains from that.
I am sleepy after meal, but i Am type 3 or 1A doesnt matter because they are very similar in neurological profile and diet aproach. They need higher carbs intake to regulate serotonin which is naturally low, but after carbs meal, for example 50gram rice and 200g chicken i want go to sleep, what should i do and eat?
is this the same feeling with any other type or carbs you eat ? or only with rice ?
Yes i only feel good only after protein fat meal, even after training when i consume carb after 30 min i want go sleep, but I am 1a/3 so i need carb
So you won’t listen to your body because your an 1a/3 ?
Insulin resistance?
Maybe?
Your feeling good using a low carbs approach during the day.
Eat your carbs in your last meal and at night to fall asleep like a baby.
nothing more to say stop overthinking the situation
It can be mainly 2 things.
-
Insulin resistance leading to a high blood sugar (high blood sugar causes sleepiness). You could actually use a glucometer to measure how your blood sugar reacts 30, 60 and 90 minutes after a meal
-
Carbs decreasing cortisol and adrenaline too much
