i have the same question. I have friend, who in my opinion has decent amount of 3 and 1A traits and i have confusion like him which neurotype he is.
thanks
As it was explained above, they are very similar, it can be hard to gauge.
Also, to give CT or anyone on the forum any chance of figuring out your friend’s neurotype without the test (if he didn’t take it yet), you need to give more info than ‘he has a decent amount of both traits’.
If he didn’t take the test yet, it’s $15, on CTs site, I strongly recommend it, then maybe come back for a question if the results aren’t clear, and in all fairness occasionally they aren’t clear cut
That’s honestly the most I can do. I am glad to help people out on my forum. But do not forget that I do have a business, which includes selling the neurotyping test to figure out which type you are.
that amazing Chris, love you
so basically if you are type 3, by increase gaba and redcue glutamate you can become 1A, if you reduce stress for example by ashwaganda and add gaba… interesting
but thats interestin that you wrote in your articles that 1A should have low carb diet and type 3 high carb diet becasue of dopamine, serotonine ratio and they have the same level of this neurotransmiter
I don’t think that’s what he meant. You’re not becoming a type 1A if you increase GABA levels. You’re ACTING like a type 1A… but you’re still a type 3 though.
Think of it this way: when you have more inhibiting neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA, your stress buffers increase as well. Hence, stress won’t have the same impact on you as it normally does and you might feel more confident and secure.
However, you still are a poor methylator which means you cannot avoid the higher cortisol/adrenaline production. This will still be elevated. The GABA increase via food and supplementation can help though. Maybe that’s why type 3’s who are not that stressed, tend to become more confident and are more drawn to lifting heavy weights to solidify and confirm their newly gained confidence.
That article is dated, he updated the diet.
Where chris upload article about diet?
So keto for 1a and 3 basically are not Good idea, because LOWER seretonin which is low natural
Yes. In all fairness, keto works for fatloss (as do all diets that put you into a moderate caloric deficit and take a high enough protein intake into account). But I would not recommend it for the long term, especially not for a type 3. Two main reasons besides neurotransmitter efficiency:
-
Carbs are much more anabolic than fats. Yes, fats are important for hormonal output, I don’t dispute that. But when it comes to maintaining and building muscle, carbs are superior because they play a role in anabolic signaling via IGF-1 and insulin. They also help to lower cortisol and adrenaline which is not only important during a fatloss phase but also during a muscle gaining phase (because cortisol increases myostatin, which slows down MPS).
-
Just because of the way foods are set up in our society, it becomes pretty damn hard to stay keto forever. At least if you want to have a good social life. Think of all the birthday parties, social gatherings, eating out etcetera.
Are there people who can do it? Sure, but IMO they unneccesarily miss out on a lot of good things that carbs have to offer.
So, if information on youtube and Chris articles are not actual which type of diet, Marco ratio is best for type 3 and 1A. High carbs? if all have low baseline of serotonin or what?
I wrote that information on yt share by Chris are not actual because he is talking There about diffrent level of neurotransmiters. He told on yt that 1A have low dopamine and high serotonin and vice versa type 3. And now we see that both type have similar neurotransmiter profile with diffrent level of gaba and glutamina.
You don’t become 1A. But you’ll be more assertive and social.
So what type 9f diet is good for 1a and 3?
You can find a lot of answers in my previous posts for the type 3.
Also, you seem to be very interested in the neurotyping topic. Why don’t you just make a good investment and expand your knowledge by buying the course(s)? The price/value ratio’s are excellent.
I get that you want some quick answers but you also need to understand that you can’t get freebies for everything. I may have already shared too much information on this forum because my drive to help people out (I have a weak spot for everyone who struggles with depression and/or anxiety) is so strong.
I don’t want to step on CT toes by sharing all the information that is readily available in his courses. He put a lot of effort into making them and he has the right to get paid for that.
I’m sure you understand.
This is my last question and im going to buy A course for really
The type of diet good for 1a and 3 are both sold on CTs website, and are very different from each other in set up, which you can gauge just by reading their description on the site.
Oh he really uload that because some time ago under diet type 1A was wrote something About low carb
will suplementing wiith glutein and glycine lower glutamate ? what increase GABA and could be permanent and reversing ?
thank you
