Is this the…‘two men your mother forced you to listen to’ thread? I’ve got a bit of respect for Neil Diamond…but Barry Manilow…I can’t stand him.

There are two songs in this world that immediately spring to mind that I wish were never written or sung, one of them is ‘walking on sunshine’ by Katrina and the Waves, the other… ‘copacabana’ by Manilow. They are hell on earth. Ear bleeding material. [/quote]

I’m at the age where this music was popular, and it brings back memories of my childhood. Both are made from cheesy goodness. John Denver’s another one in the same vein, in my opinion.

“Walking on sunshine” causes me great gastrointestinal upset.

At one point in my life, I’d thought of suing Katrina for blatent abuse of a Gibson SG guitar.

36,000 people love Neil

I spent a LOT of schoolday mornings waking up to Neil Diamond and John Denver blasting on the stereo.

My vote, without any consideration, goes to Neil Diamond. Why?
