Neil Diamond vs. Barry Manilow

I like the bad boys…

But this is probably more Zap’s style.

:0

Naw, naw! That’s all wrong! Zap is like neither of those but he does look great in a suit and has hand cuffs:)

Manilow for sure. His “Keep Each Other Warm” song is the best. He even looks a little like Rod Stewart, who kicks ass too.

“Greatest” what? I don’t particularly like Neil Diamond but he is not on the same lower rung as Barry Manilow. On the same rung as Barry Manilow, we might place, “Tony Orlando and Dawn”, Donnie Osmond, The Captain and Tenille (sp?), The Carpenters, The Partridge Family. The list could go on and on, ad infinitum.[/quote]

Leave the Carpenters out of that list, buddy!!!

“We’ve only just begun…”

I love Sinatra. No idea who that guy was though.

From the greatest TV show ever.

Then again these guys make a strong case.

and no one heard at all…not even the chair…

Coming to America

Song sung blue

Kentucky Woman

Neil’s da shit!

Neil Diamond no doubt-more of a rocker.
Manilow more of a lounge singer, great voice though.

We only get to choose between Manilow and Diamond for greatest of all time?

He meant least worst.

SongNazi to Barry Manilow: “NO LOVE FOR YOU!”

I’m surprised this one hasn’t made into the mix:

Neil RULES!

dude, you just cataloged (sp?) my dream library.

Is this the…‘two men your mother forced you to listen to’ thread? I’ve got a bit of respect for Neil Diamond…but Barry Manilow…I can’t stand him.

There are two songs in this world that immediately spring to mind that I wish were never written or sung, one of them is ‘walking on sunshine’ by Katrina and the Waves, the other… ‘copacabana’ by Manilow. They are hell on earth. Ear bleeding material.

If you combine the two they still aren’t even in the same universe as Michael Jackson.
