haha that’s what I thought blast meant. I’ve thought about it, but I don’t think that’s in the cards for a while. I was taking between 120-200 once a week for like three months before most recently, when I found a place that let me do my own shots. I’m currently starting at 30 mg twice a week. My numbers after my last 120 shot was around 1200 TT and 26 FT and estrogen over 40, 4 days after injection. I was a bit bloated and constantly suffering from facial flushing.
Which days of the week do you take HCG? I’m currently taking Testosterone on Monday and Thursday, and thinking about taking HCG the day before each injection.
Lots of really crazy shit happen your first year of TRT. Our bodies actually hate the injected T and you end up with tons of bad side effects. But with time things settle down and your body accepts the injected T as long as it is not too much.
For me I like to keep my Free T at the top of the range but never go over even at peak times two days post shot. I buy extra blood test from discountedlabs so only I know where my numbers are when I am experimenting.
This has allowed me to really understand how my body reacts to these drugs. Everyone is different.
I don’t know. I have been sticking my lovehandles and around my BB for just over 5 years. Sometimes 6 times a week. T cyp M/W/F HCG M/W/F. I have never hit blood.
Once I learned to go straight in 90 degrees then slowly move the needle from 10 oclock to 2 oclock I have never had a lump or bump. Never got PIP and I even blast this way.
Now I put them in the same syringe and inject at the same time. I also only do two shots a week. There was no difference in my bloods so why stick yourself the extra times.
Am I the only guy that gets WICKED knots from subQ? I’ve just started. - week 4. I am the proud father of 4 knots (2 on the glutes and 2 matching on each side of navel). I’ve tried switching to grape seed from sesame seed and that did nothing so I know it’s not that? What am I doing wrong? I don’t want to go to longer needles for IM. i am working with 27g 5/8" which I would think should be fine.
I have been using insulin needles for my sub q injections since switching to that. Does anyone know if that is a bad idea? The needle is literally meant for subq injections only, however I watched Crisers video where he said using that kind of needle with testestorone can lead to tissue damage. Because of the viscoity of the testosterone being pushed through such a small needle. Makes sense to me, however I never had issues injecting like this yet and inject straight into the lower abs. A bit of pain and it takes a while to get the full dose in through the needle. But maybe not smart long term because of the force being pushed out from the small needle hole? I have bigger needles I recieved for IM injections but the needle gauge is too big, would have to go to my doctors office to get the smaller gauge ones and awkwardly explain why haha. They let me change my dosing schedules, but I didn’t inform them about doing sub Q yet.
I think you are confusing viscosity with velocity. That thick T is going so slow thru that tiny needle there will be no tissue damage. If your skin is really thin you might want to lift it or you will be doing a shallow IM.
Insulin syringes is what you use for sub Q.
I cannot believe that you can even get test in a 30 plus gauge needle…that’s nuts its just seems like it wont work I use 25 g and its takes forever with that bitch
I like 25g…idk why I guess the number is why, theres no 24 or 26 plates in the gym…who knows but it seems like as long as id want to wait…23g was probably the best of all worlds for me in start to finish… 23g 1" seems to be the all around winner for me…I still buy the 25g 3/4 " tho.
Interesting this thread has been bumped…Went in to my doctor yesterday to get more needles and was told I should’ve been using the 1/2 inch needles instead of the 3/8 and NOT going into the stomach, but the inner thigh. That’s what one of the assistants told me, as the doctor wasn’t in. I’m supposed to speak with her on Monday. I’m also due for my two month bloodwork in a week, so this is good timing.
