Here are some cell-phone videos of my squat a day after training them. The numbers I put up the previous day were poor due to technique. So I’m looking for others to catch flaws that I cannot see myself.
Any help is appreciated,
Matt
P.S. Also, the pic is of the bar position, I don’t know if it’s off or if it’s right, but I’ve squatted optimally in that position, but there’s a catch. It tears the living shit out of my back. I’ll peel my shirt off and I’ll have a horizontal abrasion lasting for weeks.
It’s always difficult to critique a lift when someone is well within their limits. Apart from the depth being a bit marginal (in my opinion) they looked good. Stick another 2 big wheels on, or somewhere about 90% of your max, and post another vid. That would provide a much better indicator of what is or isn’t wrong.
A few quick things… your bar path is not directly over the foot the whole lift… It drifts forward at the bottom. Turn your feet out a little more more as well. Force your knees out and I think it’ll feel a little better.
