Need Opinion, Anavar-Only Cycle?

So I’ve been doing a lot of research about a Anavar Only and I’m getting mixed reviews.
Lots of people are against Oral Only and for good reasons.

However,most of the questions I’m seeing are from people who want to use steroids, but think var is a safer more mild choice, in other words they’re too scared to put a needle in their ass. (those people in my opinion should just stay away from gear all together)

However, I’ve also read that Anavar can be a great compound for dropping some body fat and tighten up when used alone. (after running a test-based cycle)

I’m looking for some opinions on this.

Basically i’ve come off a cycle, ran my PCT etc. Still training and tracking my diet. However, Its been about 5 months, and I’m struggling to get this stubborn fat off. I don’t want to go into a complete calorie deficit, as I need to eat to maintain some of the gains I’ve made off my most recent cycle. However I have my wedding coming soon and I want to lean out a bit more for this. A couple of the guys at my gym who complete in shows mentioned I should cycle Anavar for 6-8 weeks. approximately 60mg/daily splitting it up into 3 doses daily.

Because of what i’ve read in the past, I figured I’d bring my situation to the forum and see what other peoples opinions are. Also, at a low dose like that, i’ve read 50/50 about PCT.

Not here saying this is what i’m doing, tell me how to do it. I’m basically looking for opinions on the matter, so ultimately I can make my own decision. Also, if you have better cycle options or ideas i’m open to hearing them. I’ve never ran anything for cutting, only bulking so this is new to me.

Oral only seems like a bad way to do things in general. But if you’re going to do one then Anavar would be the only option. So of all the bad ideas it’s the least bad.

PCT is not 50/50 on this. You will be suppressed. You will want to recover.

If you want to lose fat then you’re going to have to go into a deficit. You can’t cut without doing the cutting part. If you run Anavar and don’t eat in deficit then you won’t really get much leaner. You’ll certainly look better, and your strength will go up the first few weeks. But it won’t give you a huge shift in body fat percentage.

I ran it at 50mg/d for 100 days alongside TRT and it was ok. I would have better results running it today at my current weight. What are your stats?

I know you wont like hearing this and I may get flamed for this but… Steriods dont burn fat per say. Your calorie deficit & cardio burn the fat. Anabolics help preserve your sweet gainz. Is it true some help burn fat sure but if your looking for Var to melt off lbs nah wont happen… But you can do it with clen for a fraction of the cost.
if looking to put on lean mass & protect gainz Var will work. Its mild personally I like Var but I always run it with test prop.
1ML test prop eod and 80mg Var ed gives me nice hard veiny muscles & I lean out well with calls in check

Thanks…don’t get me wrong I think certain stuff “helps” but too many guys read cut cycle & think ok so these drugs burn fat…nope the help burn some fat through boosting metabolism & bumping up how yur body process foods…but only good ol school hunger & cardio sheds the lbs :grin:. Certain juice like Var makes u not feel hungry…so to the poster it’s a aid… nothing more

Stats: 208 lbs, 17% BF, 5’10"
Goal: 10-12% (but i’m struggling to get down that last 5-6%)
