Need Help (Not Cycle Related)

I’m doing a powerpoint presentation for a ‘‘music gender and society’’ class, and I was actually able to talk my teacher into letting me do it on steroid myths and false imagery/information (Like in M&F).
Since I will be the only one doing a non-music related pp presentation, I want to blow them completely away. (However,if it could in any way be tied into music that’d be a plus- but I doubt it)

I’m looking for any articles that YOU guys have found very informative and/or discuss the pros/(cons) and dispell a lot of the myths. I continue to do my own research, but a lot of the people posting in this forum are vastly more knowledgeable than I am, so I’d rather hear from them and have them point me in the right direction.

The more sources I can site, the better. I welcome very plain, generic readings as well as very complex articles/discussions too. I’m going to see if there’s someway I can tie in an example of what a “newb cycle” might look like too- but don’t worry, I know where the sticky for that is.

Thanks in advance…

Anabolics 2006 is a good start to debunking myths. It has some case studies in there too. It also lists the side effects and some of the proposed media side effects, then debunks them.

this is a pretty good news segment on steroids that is totally unbiased and discusses the fact that there really are no deaths attributed to steroid usage or even serious side effects in healthy adult males (they exclude teens and women). They debunk some myths.

There is an article on this site (by TC I think) called “Medicinal Steroids” that goes over use of steroids in treatments of many different diseases. It sights a ton of case studies.

There is also 2 articles called “Steroids for Health”…there is one by Brock Strasser and one by Cy Wilson. The one by Cy Willson is a better one and talks about responsible steroid use vs abuse. How to do a safe cycle. It also goes over some of the misconceptions.

To find these just use the search function. You can also search the topic you are asking us because I think this topic has been asked about before and no doubt the previous people asking were given some articles.

Good luck on your PPT.
