Need Advice On My Diet

Dear all,

Just started on this diet and I would like to know what you think of it. Aims are fat lose, I would like my BF% to drop from 23% to 10% (roughly 123kgs (270lbs) to 105-110kgs, plus to get rid of the under arm tit fat which my lats make stick out and the front muffen top!) and maintain current lean body mass.

I weight train 5 mornings a week - Monday&Tuesday 4x8, Wednesday&Thursday&Friday 5x4. I do interval work before weights - total time in gym about an hour and a half per day. I also play rugby, so yes I am fit.

The diet is as follows:
6.15am 4 x Nitrik (I don’t think these things do anything, but will finish the cycle)
6.45am 2 x scoops BSN NOXPlode
7am - Cardio and weights
8.30am - 1 x scoop BSN CellMass - imediate post-workout
8.50am - 1 x scoop ASN HP-100 + 2 tbls sustegen

Meal 1:
9.15am - 4 x egg (1 yoke), cherry tomatoes, spring oinion, garlic, mushroom and cheese (Weight Watchers) ommlett

  • 1/2 cup of oatmeal - 3/4 light vitasoy milk - 1/2 tbl flaxseed oil

10am - 3000mg fish oil, multivitamin, glocosmine

Meal 2:
11am - 1 x tuna tempta

  • 1 x cup mixed nuts

12.30pm - 4 x BSN Nitrik

Meal 3:
1pm - 150-200g steam chicken thigh fillets and salad (lettice, tomatoe etc)

  • 1 x can Coke zero

Meal 4:
3pm - 1 x Samon tempta

  • 1 x boiled egg white

Meal 5:
6.30pm - 150-200g steak (normally beef or kangaroo) and steamed vegies (snow peas, baby carrots etc etc)

  • 1 x glass red wine or coke zero

8.30pm - 4 x BSN Nitirk

Meal 6:
9pm - 1 x scoop BSN CellMass

  • 1 x scoop Protein drink
  • 2 x tbls Weight Watchers cottage cheese + 1 tbl flaxseed oil.

Snack - beef jerky

2-3 liters of water, hardly any coffee or tea.

Carbs daily: approx 100g training days, 70g on non-training days.
Protein daily: Approx 250-300g.

Going for the high good fat, protein, low carbs etc etc etc.

(Yes it is the T-Dawg diet, but would love some feedback)

OK thing that jump out to me

Food before weights, something

weights before cardio

meal 1 very light on protein

Looks overall low in fat prob add some olive oil to the veggies and salad

Is meal one too low on protein or do you mean lower the protein?

I have started having a protein shake about an hour before the gym, is that ok?

I am sitting on about 2500-2900cals a day.

yea, i think he means too little protein in meal 1, a whey shake before should work.

as said increase fats in diet - olive oil, fish oils, oily fish, flax, nuts etc

as you play rugby, i would add a carb up day one or two days before game.

are you lactose intolerant?

I noticed vitasoy…?

I see you eat cottage cheese and cheese…so …i must be missing something with the soy milk.

2 options-
if youre drinking the milk for protein…just add egg whites to the omlette and replace it

if you drink soymilk for calcium or something…just add spinach to your omlette. Spinach has vitamins…and plenty of calcium.

both of the above options could be considered rather than soy milk.

I like the taste of Vitasoy. Normally I hate soy milk but this tastes really good! Not really big into milk in any form, but this stuff tastes good!

I have added in a protein shake about an hour before weights in the morning - 6am.

it says 6"45 am you drink xplode, then you do cardio and lift weights. why not follow the instructions on the back of the jug wait 30-45 min, are you pressed for time? also im curious to know how the xplode is working for you i am using it as well.

I am finding that the NOXplode is only taking about 20mins to fit the system.

It is going well, I am due to cycle off it in about 3 weeks time. My tollerence is getting to high at the minute and it is costing me a furtune in buying th stuff.

It is good though. I am going to give SizeOn and SuperPump 250 ago next time.
