I’m fourteen weeks into my cycle and experiencing gyno. I got blood test at week 11 and my e2 was 62 pg/ml. I was already on 1 mg anastrazole per week split into two .5 mg doses. I upped the anastrazole to 2mg per week split into two 1mg doses. My test dose is 300mg per week. Test was around 1700 free test 570. I’m not noticing any relief of symptoms so I began taking 40mg tamoxifen as well. What should I do from this point? I was considering increasing the anastrazole to 3mg per week dosed 1mg Monday Wednesday Friday. Any advice would be appreciated. Also planning another blood test in a week or so.
See how you do on the Tomox before doing anything else. It should start to resolve. Give it a week or two.
I agree with @s.gentz . You don’t want to crush your E2 and tamoxifen will block the tissue receptors without doing that. Don’t expect overnight changes.
Split the test into 2x per week dosing.
is that 40mg nolva e/d?
I have high estrogen when I blast test at 500mg - which I’m doing alongside 375mg deca currently - but I’ve never gone for arimidex. I do 20mg nolvadex eod and haven’t experienced any bad effects. of course everyone reacts differently but there’s studies been done on tamoxifen and it’s been shown to supress and even reverse gyno in some cases at 20mg e/d.
Thanks for the input guys that sounds like the most reasonable course of action. I’m currently dosing test every 5 days. Would more frequent doses be better for hormone fluctuations?
Yes 40 mg tamoxifen everyday. May taper down to 20mg everyday after the first week if I notice any improvement.
Be sure to check this out if you haven’t yet:
It could, yes.
Smaller more frequent dosing flattens the curve, so your peak will be lower.
