I don’t wanna sound sarcastic but I had colonic irrigation and that took nearly 7 kilos out of me in one sitting. I’m 132 kilos and 6f6. I have to assume heavyweights might have plenty of “excess” sat there that could be shifted like that.[/quote]
You started an account on here a year and a half ago, and waited this long to post for the first time, only to share that you had colonic irrigation? That’s fantastic.
Big Al, great job man! Sounds like you’re really doing a great job. Keep it up!
ha-ha. Yeah, well you gotta start somewhere and today I happened to have read this. Long time lurker.
I’ve started for Keto yesterday. I’ve never been big on specific diets - just smart eating but incidentally, I power-lift (miserably) and I’d like to get to 120kg. I’ve always managed that through hard cardio only so I’m taken a more detailed approach.
These are great updates and inspiring weight cut.
I’ve been trying some Keto dieting and I’m about a week in, though I need to drop my calories gradually. I like the idea of dropping several kilos.
Your numbers are your own challenge but for only a few months training that is good going man! My squat is pitiful for my size; most of us have weaknesses.
4 weeks to meet - meet prep training starts today and I have a head cold! Oh well, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!
Weight 262 pounds so under comp weight. The plan is to tray and lose another 3-4 pounds then increase my calories the two weeks prior to the meet so I am not depleted. I’ll let you know how it goes!
First place in the novices so pleased as only been lifting for 8 months.
Not too bad after this weight loss - I know my squat needs to catch up but after injury I only trained it for 6 weeks prior to the meet. I’ll keep you all posted!
The plan now is down to 242 then start getting stronger again!
