Interesting the SEC West had 6 of 7 teams ranked last week (every team except Arkansas). But the SEC East won the day with Mizzou over A
Alright so it looks like Alabama, Oregon, and Florida State are in. So who is going to be the 4th team. TCU, Baylor, and Ohio State all are deserving teams. If I were to pick a team I think I would go with Baylor. Sucks to be in the committee and have to make this decision.

After yesterday’s performance and destroying it’s opponent, IMHO it is Ohio State that deserves such honor. Ohio State was the underdog by 4 points, yet beat Wisconsin 59 to 0.

I think they got the right four, although I understand Briles being pissed. In the Big 12 bylaws that the coaches voted to adopt it clearly says that in the event of a tie the head to head is the tiebreaker. The Big 12 wanted to hedge their bets with Co-champions and refused to declare only one. I think that actually hurt Baylor’s chances but I guess you’ll never know.

Best game so far was that Baylor vs. Michigan State today. What a comeback by Michigan State. That block field goal completely changed the game and that kicker got leveled when he was going for the tackle.

I’m not making excuses for FSU or belittling Oregon’s win(I think they’re the best team in the country and have for pretty much the entire season), but that 3rd quarter had an element of freakishness to it that FSU just couldn’t overcome. The Ducks forced some of those fumbles, but fumbles in some form even when ‘forced’ are still a fluke-ish thing.
Now, FSU couldn’t stop their offense at all so they probably lose that game anyway, but it ended up being a stomp when I think the 'Noles are actually very capable of competing for all 4 quarters in it. I mean, they put up almost 600 yards themselves, there was just some Murphey’s Law shit that finally, FINALLY caught up to them after squeaking out seemingly every game this year.
That Jameis Winston fumble when he was falling back was classic. Almost as bad as the Mark Sanchez butt fumble.
This is the playoff that I was hoping to see, Ducks and Bucks. I thought FSU was overrated all season long and they had a complete melt down. I was a little surprised to see OSU beat Bama with their third string quarterback. Looking forward to January 12.
