NBA Season 2013-2014

Is Blake Griffin the biggest douchebag this side of Patrick Beverly or what?

Watching Steph Curry is painful

anybody watch the 30 for 30 yesterday Bad Boys? It was great, god I hate Laimbeer. I really liked the inside knowledge of the Adrian Dantley / Isaiah Thomas feud.
Let me guess, Isaiah didn’t like AD 'cause he slowed the pace down and took all the shots?

I’d like to see it, is it on NF, Hulu or Youtube?

Check out this 4 point play

beverly is the douche in the central
lebron is the overloading douche for all of humanity.

entertaining Game 2 in the BK/TOR series

but sad to say, it’s not looking good for TOR going fwd

edit - just to clarify, I’m referring to one team looking poised (and in turn, consistently getting good looks) down the stretch and the other looking pretty darn helter skelter

Edit: Something that came up while I was talking with some friends about end of season awards, players stats and whatnot: KD was 4 made threes and a handful of FTs away from the 50/40/90 slash line while putting up 32 a game. That is so ridiculously absurd.
Yes, ridiculously so.

I think it was the Grantland piece on 2013-14 NBA Awards that first drew my attention to Durant’s other-worldly efficiency this season; it also pointed out that Westy missed plenty of games so Durant’s been doing this vs steady diet of double and triple teams.

And that Lebron shot better than 57% from the field this year, that’s frightening efficiency in its own right.

Agreed.

When you’re +22 on the boards and you barely squeeze by a team you know you’re in trouble. Also 20+ TO’s/game isn’t going to cut it.

Demar DeRozan needs to pick up his D. He was absolutely torched by Joe Johnson to the point where they had to bring in Landry Fields to play in crunch time. Landry did a good job however.

Through three quarters, LA was 16-22 FGs (!) and finished with 18 FGs overall (!)

Also joined Jordan & McGrady as only players to go for 40+ pts in first two games on the road.

Little known fact: LaMarcus Aldridge is Kobe Bryant.

I really hope Portland comes out of the west.

Haven’t watched much ball this year, but I don’t see it. Their team defense isn’t that great and if either Aldridge or Lilliard have on off night they’re toast. Watching the game last night it blew my mind how many wide open shots Aldridge was getting. That shit develops rhythm, and then you have a smaller, average athlete (Terrence Jones) try and cover him and he just raises up over the top and gets easy bucket after easy bucket. He doesn’t get those shots against LA, OKC, MEM, SA, etc… Also, Harden’s a dog. The whole game he looked like he didn’t want to be out there and had already given up.

Also, an Indy/OKC Finals would be bad to the bone.

I just want to see some new teams/players. Fuck the spurs/heat/bulls/okc/nets.

crew is back. go spurs!

Anyone expecting upsets now that ATL is up 2-1 over IND and MEM over OKC?

Indy doesn’t look too good, but I still have a hard time seeing them lose to Atlanta. Memphis has been the giant slayer for years, but not sure the league would let one of their cash cows drop in the first round.
