Anyone see this game ending block on Lebron James? Foul or no foul?

No foul and those Heat jerseys are fucking ridiculous.

Agreed. There was some hand contact but enough ball to justify the non-call.
And if you’re one who believes in an increased threshold for a foul call down the stretch of a game that’s a pretty weak one.

Block was clean, Johnson got some of Lebron’s arm on his way up though. I’m cool with no-calls on both.
Clean block. All contact was after the ball had been rejected. For the billionth time, James doesn’t jump well off two feet and can’t finish over bigger players. Surprised he still didn’t get the call though. That’s probably less than 5 times since he’s been in the league the that he hasn’t just been handed his way.

Surprised is the wrong word because the dunk feels like the obvious move, but I kind of thought James would put the ball up on the backboard for the easy lay-in because Plumlee had absolutely no angle to get at it with the ball totally shielded by the rim.

And if it didn’t go in, he’d be criticized for not taking it strong with a 2 hand dunk
Mason Plumlee is my new favorite player. He got some arm, but unless it’s egregious you let that go at the end of the game.
Okay let’s hear your predictions. Here’s what the first round looks like:
Lakers vs… wait nm
West
(1) SAS vs (8) DAL
(2) OKC vs (7) MEM
(3) LAC vs (6) GSW
(4) HOU vs (5) POR
East
(1) IND vs (8) ATL
(2) MIA vs (7) CHA
(3) TOR vs (6) BKN
(4) CHI vs (5) WAS
Let’s go raptors!

lol - do you genuinely hate the Nets or are you being sarcastic?

x2 i’d love to see the raptors come out of the east.
SAS
OKC
LAC
HOU
IND
MIA
BKN
CHI
Only one I’m struggling with is CHI v WAS but I’ll root for the Bulls based on playoff experience, defense and they appear a much better team without Deng. Noah will need to be big time, almost a triple double each game.

Lol no sarcasm at all. I hate the nets…and I honesty find the raptors easy to root for

Haha awesome. The fact that you guys all like the Raptors has made my day.
This town is absolutely starved for any sort of winner. Raptors have the highest average playoff ticket prices of any team in the playoffs.
I will be wearing my Charles Oakley raptors jersey through out
anybody watch the 30 for 30 yesterday Bad Boys? It was great, god I hate Laimbeer. I really liked the inside knowledge of the Adrian Dantley / Isaiah Thomas feud.

Yep, just logged in to post about it.
For the old-school NBA fans here, this 30 for 30 is must-see.
I’m not picking any upsets in the first round.
I know it’s sexy to pick GSW over LAC but I don’t see it without Bogut
I’m actually excited for this year’s first round, lot of good matchups, even if not because they’re all super high level(lol Eastern Conference). For example, if this game 1 is any indication, BKN/TOR is going to be a fun to watch series. Maybe these first 2 weeks won’t feel like they’re dragging on forever while we wait for the real basketball to be played.
Or maybe OKC/SAS will roll in easy sweeps and GSW will get crushed because of no Bogut, leaving us with tragically few competitive series like always. Please no.
Edit: Something that came up while I was talking with some friends about end of season awards, players stats and whatnot: KD was 4 made threes and a handful of FTs away from the 50/40/90 slash line while putting up 32 a game. That is so ridiculously absurd.

While it was close, I didn’t find it all that entertaining. Neither team played particularly well.
Very sloppy, tons of turnovers, low shooting %
