yea. he is SKILLED. his post moves and footwork makes blake griffin, howard and deandre jordan look like bums.

Seriously, howard has been in the league for so long. but all he got is an inconsistent jump hook.
best big man in the league if he can stay on the floor. Plus factor his contract is most incentive based so he’s motivated to play well. Great signing by the Cavs, their work in the draft is another issue…
Bynum, when he’s engaged, is an absolute stud. That was one of the most frustrating things about him being a laker… When he wanted to, he would dominate but was a huge baby.

Hopefully his knees hold up but I doubt it.

With King James shooting better than 59% from the field right now, I’m def curious on how WF will hate on this year’s version of him.

So you’re building a team right now, Lebron and Durant seem obvious 1-2 guys to start building around.

So who’s next? And can’t we already consider P George there?

Granted its lame to quote oneself, but P George is absolutely killing it thus far.

The fact his team just lost to the Detroit Pistons?

Paul George is getting real good but unsure if he could carry a team the way Lebron and Durant can. Indiana is an unusually well balance defensive unit as a whole and have an army of guys that are offensively gifted.

I would personally pick D12 or CP3 before P George. Purely based on the degree of drop off once they left Orlando and New Orleans respectively. We’ve also seen how scrub the Clippers are when CP3 was injured last year.

are the portland trailblazers the NBA’s cinderella story? anyone thinks they can do it all? They defeated OKC and indiana. If they defeat the heats and spurs, get ready the bandwagons!

It’s not even Christmas yet, wait til April.

Agreed. In order to join the league’s elite, he needed to take the next step and become a reliable-down-the-stretch, closer type.

Thing is, he’s done exactly that. I caught the 4th quarter + OT of their road win at MSG and the recent loss at POR, and dude is now cold blooded in crunch time.

And after watching last weekend’s GS-OKC rematch, its becoming clear that OKC does better running their offense through Westbrook – that shot Durant settled for at the end of regulation was disgusting – and maybe P George even leapfrogs Durant sooner than later.

Sounds like crazytalk I know, but only one of those guys can also play lock-down perimeter defense.

They’re fun to watch, that’s for sure.

But yeah, Western Conf playoffs this year will be a bloodbath.

if houston can lose to phoniex, a team that’s looking to tank (although they are playing pretty decently), i doubt they’ll be a serious contender. i really think dwight howard is not worth a max contract. He’s been in the league for so long, he CAN’T shoot free throws/jumpers. That’s okay if he’s dominant down in the post like a billrussell/wilt/shaq. but he’s not. even those white backup centres like freeland has better footwork and moves than him.

and i guess kyrie irving turned out to be all talk.

and if you guys haven’t suscribed to him, please do! he give’s pretty good breakdowns.

the white box is a user called “bballbreakdown” on youtube

Bill Russell was never even close to dominant in the post, but I’ve been saying Howard’s the most overrated dude in the league for years. Houston has had some flashes, but more often than not they devolve into 5 games of 1-on-1 where Harden dribbles the air out of the ball and shoots a step back 25-footer as the shot clock is expiring. While I’m at it, Harden is overrated too. He constantly has to try and dig the Rockets out of holes he single handedly creates. And, LeBron would be an average player if he played in the mid 90’s. He struggles every time there’s a decent center (Roy Hibbert, anyone?) and can’t score against big, physical interior presences. Not to mention hand checking and that flopping wasn’t encouraged.

MONTAAAAAA EEEELLLLIIIISSSSS!!

Anyone else excited for Kobe’s return tonight?

Raps just traded Gay to Kings.

Looks like a full on tank for Wiggins

It’s all about Jabari Parker now, keep up with the college trends!

Parker’s the Mormon one right? If so, using the reliable equality of ‘religious = stronger family = better values’ dictates he’d be less inclined to leave after his freshman year compared to Wiggins or Randle.

Nonetheless, top 3 in next year’s draft COULD help any of the current league bottom-feeders.

Maybe the Raps owner can hire Rob Ford as Raps GM after he finishes his stint as mayor.

All I know is he plays at Duke and balls. It’s being assumed he is gone after this year though.
