James doesn’t “deserve” anything, except maybe a swift kick to the nuts. The guy is a spoiled, entitled jerkoff who’s never worked for anything and looks for bailouts at every available oppertunity. He’s also now become one of the worst floppers in the league, which is so pathetic it’s sad. With that, even if he never wins anything he’s had a career of young Grant Hill #'s with a better 3pt %, so he’ll go down as a top 20 player.
Wow…
Wow x2.

Personal biases aside, he’s still the best all-around basketball player that anyone’s seen in ages. And that includes Jordan and Bryant, who were/are better pure scorers and on the low-block, but could never defend four different positions the way James can/does.

That James can drop 19, 7, 7 and that only be considered mediocre game for him does speak volumes for the expectations of him and just how high his bar is set. I mean, those are basically Pippen’s career averages and outstanding stats for anyone else… except this guy. Go figure.

I believe the reason for all the hate is because of the way LeBron left the Cavaliers and joined the Heat. The televised decision, Bosh, Wade, and James coming out on stage, etc. James is too cocky and doesn’t even have a ring. He said when he joined the Heat they might get 5 rings, 6 rings, 7 rings(I’m not sure of the correct quote but it is along those lines). James needs a ring and all the hate will stop. I personally liked him on the Cavs but cannot stand him on the Heat.

P.S. GO CELTICS!!!

^^ oh no doubt. I think everyone can agree that CLE fans got screwed.

But all subjectivity aside, in terms of blending skill & physical giftedness, he’s right up there with the very best ever… even with zero rings.

Agree, however he’s also one of the all time great douches, divas, and general assholes to have ever blessed the professional sports world.

Happy to see Boston win, cant believe rondo hit those 3’s

Wow x3

Spurs really took over that 4th quarter.

Did anyone see this last night?

^^ Hilarious.

I was really impressed with OKC’s third quarter, and of course SA’s fourth quarter (now THAT’s how you counter a fronting-the-post defense)

I dont know how anyone can beat the Spurs, they owned OKC in the 4th. SJax locking up KD is going to kill the thunders chances, because westbrook just isnt enough. and i think he’s a punk bitch.

Couldn’t agree more. I don’t know what it is about him but I can’t stand the guy.

 1. LBJ (or anyone) doesn’t “deserve” anything. No one in the NBA has ever deserved something until they’ve won it. If/when he wins a title I’ll say he deserved it, he hasn’t earned it yet though.

 2. Flopping in general has been really, really bad this year… I wouldn’t put it on the Heat more than any other team, LBJ/Wade just get more scrutiny (and rightfully so) because of their talent level and the Heat Hype Level. Chris Paul is my vote for worst flopper though, but it doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy the rest of his game.

 3. Winner of OKC/SAS wins the title, I agree. I think it’ll be SAS but if anyone will beat them, it’ll be OKC.

WTF has happen to this league, the fact that the causal viewer knows the names of some of these refs only going to show what a complete joke the league has become. It’s a shame.

You’d think by the Conference Finals they would be able to put their “A” crews out there, not exactly a lot of games going on at the moment. Agreed.

But who are the A crews, when the league is giving them marching orders to suck the life out of the game.

The ray allen T was totally uncalled for, maybe if it was the middle of the season and he had already been warned multiple times.

KG got the T for a non intentional tip of the ball, “delay of game” which happens all the time.

I dont even understand the T for Doc, he dint curse or do anything extra.

Rondo’s might have been the most deserving but in the ECF, when battier (who is annoying as fuck) boxes him out past the photographers out of bounds, they both should have been warned and away with the game.

Any chance of getting momentum was killed by the refs this game, they did not decide the game, but they made it unwatchable.

There are some decent refs, generally you don’t know their names because you are never mad at them (I.e. Not Joey Crawford, Bill Kennedy, Ed Malloy, etc.).

I didn’t see the entire game but I caught a couple of those T’s and they were inexplicable. BOS has no chance at all but that doesn’t make shit like that excusable. NBA needs more accountability in officiating (fines, suspensions, not working deep into postseason) for bad calls.

I honestly don’t believe you can be as good at basketball as LBJ without ever “working at it”. In particular his D is light years ahead of where it was when he entered the league. He also plays an absurd number of minutes without injury so you know he works damn hard on conditioning.

He’s gotten better at three point shooting throughout his career as well. He’s always had the passing and rebounding genes so it’s hard to say what level of effort there. But he has improved in enough things that to say he doesn’t work is wrong.

Question his mental state all you want… I wouldn’t question his work ethic though.

I’ve explained at least a dozen times here over the years what “working at it” means. Not gonna do it again.

Why can’t west coast games be played on east coast time?

bullshit aside, cant wait for the Heat to win it all this year to shup up all the haters.

^^LOL

No way the Heat beat the Spurs.

Once the LAL-OKC series ended, I couldn’t maintain any hate towards southland kids like Westy and Harden.

And honestly, it’s getting harder for me to maintain my hatred of all Spurs not named Ginobili – awfully tough to hate a squad that is just putting on a clinic re: 5-on-5 team basketball.

I’m also hoping to see James get a ring already, except those Spurs look pretty darn unstoppable right now.

MIA can maybe make it a series vs them, but even that goes out the window unless Bosh can return and immediately contribute.
