I’ve lost a lot of respect for him since the playoffs and even a little earlier. I can excuse a bad shooting game. But I can’t stand seeing him pouting at the ref instead of hustling back on D. It’s gotten worse and worse. He needs to drop fake tough guy shit too. You know, giving guys who foul you dirty looks; even on clean fouls. Also throwing cheap shots when your’re frustrated (Pacers series). It’s tough seeing your favorite player turn into a total douche over the course of a few months.
Since this is a basketball thread…I bought a piece of shit rubber ball for $23 just to play here. Man it was perfect. They turn the lights on at 6:30 so they can run games throughout the night. I’m not cleared to play until another 3 months so I can only shoot around. I was so damned tempted to say fuck the doc and run a few full court games. I’m still itching to get back out there as I type this.

How anyone could watch last night’s game and not think that the NBA is fixed blows my mind. Yes, the Spurs missed shots late, but the ref’s were giving OKC EVERYTHING. Expect the same treatment for Miami tonight. I’m all but convinced the NBA will “help” Miami on their way to the Final’s so we can get a good guys vs bad guys ending. I like OKC, but how many 4th quarter charges can they draw, or Durant phantom fouls can they get? Was watching with a buddy who knows nothing about ball and even he thought it was fixed.

Those days where nba players were seen as “thugs” are long gone. Theyre fucking diva princess’s now, and if they want to talk shit,and beat their chests who the hells cares. Anything short of throwing punches and beating up fans should be allowed.
