Less-than-zero percent chance of this. Its well documented how the guy is an obsessive workaholic and never been a big time party guy.

I also have it on good authority that Bryant’s “extracurricular activity” has been going on for awhile now, for however little such gossip is worth. [/quote]

I’ve said a lot of negative things about Kobe in these threads… but I would never question his commitment to basketball. I literally don’t think a single thing on this planet could take away from his drive during a season.

Kobe tore a wrist ligament and the season hasn’t even started yet. I was wondering how his body would hold up, hope this isn’t a sign of things to come (though I fear it will be)

Eh, he’s got 5 rings has made a good wad of cash, he’s old (older than most his age in ball terms, since he’s been playing 82game seasons since he was 18), it happens.

As a basketball fan, the NBA is more interesting with him playing. But wouldn’t say I feel sorry for him.

Sooooo anyone else watching?

Can’t believe the Celtics gave up a 34 point quarter!

My boy Billy Walker will fuck up that Queen Garnett! Happy to see the Knicks win it was a tough game, Rondo was a beast but so was Melo, Shumpert looks like he was hurt very bad, that’s gonna be a tough loss as I believe he is going to be a heluva player. Douglas played well but he aint no PG. Nevertheless it was nice to win. Knicks did horrible job on the boards especially on the offensive side, Defensive intensity was definitely apparent.

early reports are strained MCL for Shumpert 2-4 weeks and Jeffries out 1-2 weeks which Im happy about, more run for Balkman.

I was gonna say, Rondo didn’t look overrated when I watched him today.

So is Kobe playing tonight?

You guys gonna start an actual NBA 2011/2012 Thread?

Seriously Bulls? You’re losing to a team with two above average players?

Lack of preseason is evident. The level of play is poor.

BREAKING: Carlos Boozer still likes to shout.

Seriously - watching the Mavs play today was brutal.

That was great. The steal was even better though.

I know Rose was the man when he hit that game winner but props need to go to Luol Deng who absolutely abused Kobe within those last two minutes or so.
