^^hahahaha I know right? Your 7 feet tall. Get close and dunk on everyone! Thats what I would be doing. It doesnt make him a super spectacular player cause he’s a big man who decided not to play the position of a big man. I think Dirk is a great offensive player but he’s not gonna play D and get you the boards/blocks that Bosh would.

educate yourself

What do two videos showing what we all already knew - that he can shoot, score and not much else - prove to anyone?

We simply need one T-Nation reporter who breaks all of the NBA news and provides crisp concise summaries, who will it be?

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA I was just going to say that! I say Dirk is a big man who doesnt play like a big man and you try to educate me by showing videos of him shooting a shit load of jump shots? hahahahahahahaah!!! LMFAO!

I even said in my post that he is a great offensive player!

hahahahaha Thats gotta be the definition of post fail!

Why wont you admit that am not the only one that thinks hes the in the top 7 best players right now playing in the league and a future HOF?
'Cause you’re the only person I’ve ever heard say that?
Why don’t you use google or turn on your TV.

Those vids show how dangerous he can be offensively and how clutch he is.

If you want defense and rebounds go watch a Kendrick Perkins reel.

how is it a post fail when it clearly demonstrates how you can be better if youre that tall and can play an inside outside game? It means he can take over games which Bosh cant do.

I can do it. For the first two NBA Playoff Threads (07, 08) I did daily playoff game recaps and chose a player of the night. I look at sources several times a day and spread the word to my friends re: free agency, I can do the same here.

hahahah so now you’re realizing you messed up and trying to argue a point that I never stated? I never said Bosh can take over a game and I even specifically stated that he would be a better match up with Wade/LBJ because he’s not a take over a game kinda guy.

Your hired (extra bonus because your rocking the Thunder in your logo).

You start at 12:01 tonight, bring the news!
Upstart New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov has penetrated New Yorkâ??s shabby defense with a towering 225-foot mural touting his team just yards from where the Knicks hold court.

Prokhorov teams up with hip-hop mogul Jay-Z on a mural proclaiming â??The blueprint for greatness.â?? It looms above Madison Square Garden on Eighth Avenue and 34th Street with the heading â??the blueprint for greatnessâ?? and a Nets logo
Haha, waaaaaaar!!!

News that Bryant may have damaged his finger beyond repair-

Alright, first news to report:

CLE/DAL in talks for Brendan Haywood/Shaq sign/trade

TOR/MIA in talks for sign/trade with Chris Bosh

Knicks to meet with LeBron in Akron, OH

Amar’e announced a few hours ago he opted out of his contract with PHX, as did Richard Jefferson with SAS

Joe Johnson reportedly receiving max offer from ATL

Dirk on his way back to US from home in Germany to discuss extension with Mavs

^^^These are perfect. Nice clean, concise summaries. Keep 'em coming!

Cavs sign Brendan Haywood today, all but a done deal. Shaq goes to Dallas, but not for certain.

Not that it’s a big signing, but the Bucks just signed Drew Gooden. they also traded for Maggette last week. I’m not sold on Maggette’s ability to play winning, unselfish team ball, but if he can the Bucks have improved a lot. Either way they’re quietly putting together a pretty damn solid squad. If Jennings improves the way I think he will, and Bogut comes back 100% then they have the potential to make some noise next year.

ESPN today said Lebron wants to have a deal done by the 5th…

Also while Dirk is definitely not the 2nd best free agent, he is surely a HOFer and I think the great majority of people who cover the NBA would agree.

I’m not hating on the guy 'cause he clearly has major game, but why? What has he done thus far that makes him a sure fire hall of famer? The Hall is reserved for the truly elite, and I can’t think of anything Nowitzki’s done to put him in that company.

22.9/8.5/87.6FT% career, 25.6/10.9/88.7FT% in playoffs (10 seasons), 10 time All-Star, he’s the face of the Mavs and has taken them to the playoffs every year of the 2000s, first European player to 20k points and first European player to be MVP. The hall is for great players and contributors to the game. He’s an excellent player, best shooting big man ever, and has largely paved the way for European prominence in the NBA. Sounds like a HOFer to me.

I don’t care what you think but you’re being disrespectful by saying I’m trolling. As far as I know youre the only one that has called me an idiot.
You’re a good dude overall, and I’m not going to call you and idiot, but you have some really annoying tendencies.

A lot of your posts have good points, but then you mix them with some really bad logic. And worse than that, you throw out some accusations that are just plain stupid. On the first page of this thread, you called me a racist for not calling Manu Ginobili an elite player alongside Wade, LeBron, Bosh, etc. That’s ridiculous and you know it.

Now your accusing anyone who prefers Bosh over Dirk anti-European or anti-international or whatever. Flash and Greg both have made it clear they think Gasol is one of the best big men in the league, and neither said Dirk sucked. And I’m a CANADIAN who roots for the RAPTORS and the SUNS. I have no problems with international players. That’s the second time you’ve accused me of being prejudiced.

I don’t think you’re a troll, but it’s not an unreasonable suggestion when you look at the things I’ve pointed out.
C’mon dude I didnt call you a racist. I was pointing how how you should have had Manu up there or omitted Paul Pierce/Ray Allen from the ‘Elite list.’

When I say I don’t think international players get enough respect thats not really accusing you or anyone of being prejudice. So if you took offense to that I apologize.

I just feel theres seems to be a ambiance of egoism around here where everyones opinion is something more than an opinion…
No worries and Im glad we cleared that up. And on second thought, youre right about putting Pierce and Allen in the elite category, I should have put them right below with Manu.
