Go Warriors. Only need 24 more wins to cash in for the season. Miami should lay the smack down on them tonight though.
As a Laker hater, it makes me happy to see the Lakers like this. But it will only last for a season or two at most. They always get back on track.
Really hoping Amare comes back in the next few weeks, I think the team has a chance to be special this year, I just dont trust JR Smith and Ray Felton as your main scoring options. Both are way to streaky of shooters. From the reports I have been hearing Amare seems amenable to a role off the bench and could get significant minutes backing up Chandler and Melo and at times having both on the floor, they need another consistent scoring option I think Amare could provide 12-15 pts off the bench and keep all three stars fresh at the same time.
This fast-start without Amare is the best thing that could’ve happened, obv for the squad but for Amare as well.
Who else is pumped Jeremy Lin is going to be an all star this year? He’s only behind Kobe and Paul in voting.
Jeremy Lin: inspiring Asians across the world to become mediocre athletes
wont let it go I see, I guess that’s what you have to do when your a Raptor fan
Ha, there’s a new issue.
He’s going to make the Allstar game even in the Midst of a terrible season.
See I told you he sucks!

How’s he inspiring Asians across the world to become mediocre athletes? He’s probably one of the most athletic Asians to ever play the game, but in comparison to other NBA athletes at his position, he’s definitely average.

It’s more that people pegged him as the next great thing. By that standard he’s mediocre
Hollinger is leaving espn to work for the Griz.
I know he had some shitty analyses at times, but I def found his work interesting

I’m pretty sure by “people”, you mean certain members who posted in this thread?
How the fuck is Lin, an NBA starter, a “mediocre athlete,” raj?
Well that was a nice B-day gift, thank you Knickerbockers

I didn’t catch the entire game, but it was on in the background at Hooters. It confused me because every time I saw Dantoni’s mug, I kept thinking he was coaching the Knicks.
Does any one recall a player a mediocre as Jeremy Lin getting some many votes? (Damn pesky Asians).

Look in the context in how I’m saying it.

They must be manipulating it mathematically

I can only recall instances of over the hill athletes starting after years of making it on merit.
The example that comes to mind is Derek jeter. He was great for years, but hasn’t been close to the best SS in the AL for a few years now.
I don’t personally mind it since hes a 1st ballot HoFer.
I think Vince carter also made a few all star starts undeservedly due to his dunk competition performance but he was never mediocre.
