I just spent $214/ticket for the Laker game.
I can’t believe I spent that much on one of the worst fucking seasons of all time.

Raptors shit as usual
Lakers shit
Wizards shit
Bulls shit
The only team that’s followed by posters here that are doing well is the Knicks[/quote]
The smaller market teams are kicking ass though. How did Atlanta become 12-6 ? I never noticed till last night.
Spurs are awesome as usual but will NOT make to the finals. I’ll bet money with anyone on that right now. Memphis kicking ass as well.
Brooklyn is doing great too. They play the Knicks tonight. I’ve been watching a lot of their games because they’re on my local cable lineup (YES network). I actually like watching them as much as the Knicks this year. I’d post more but outside of MattyXL, I don’t think anyone else gives a fuck about the NY teams lol. The Knick games have been more boring without Carmelo in the lineup. When Felton becomes your leading scorer…shiiiiiit.
I saw Lin light it up on the hi-lights last night. 38 points last night. With Harden out, will we see Linsanity 2.0? (lulz)

Is it that usual 1:30pm tip-off this year?
That’s the annoying thing about that yearly visit to TOR: the game just tips way too early (10:30am PST) for hoop.

Yes unfortunately. I prefer night games for the atmosphere, more adults.
I also think prices are inflated even more than usual because of the lockout. Believe it or not Toronto is 8th in attendance with the 2nd worst record in the league.

Brooklyn is playing like shit, they lost 4 in a row…Joe Johnson is invisible…and questions are already coming in as to whether he could play in a big market and whether he is a good running mate with Deron as he is mainly an Iso, half court type player.
Not even a peep of the Knicks beating the Heat in Miami w/o Melo…typical for this thread, which seems to be mostly about the Lakers and the west coast, that’s OK, Melo is gonna Tbag D’antoni soon enough.

Incomprehensible signing.
I’m a Spurs fan raj but there’s nothing much to say about the Spurs, they are elite every year - it’s amazing. I love how they’re playing team basketball and moving the ball. They’re scoring like 110ppg it seems.
I detest your notion the Spurs won’t reach the Finals Sneed. There’s no actual basketball reason (how they’re playing right now) for you making statements like that. Let’s be real - you’re saying that because 1) they’re old and/or 2) you don’t think they can beat the Thunder. The Thunder are a one-dimensional team comprised of two players. I truly believe the Spurs will embarrass them in the playoffs.

Brook Lopez is a huge part of their success(leading scorer) and he’s been out for the last 5 games. The have zero inside scoring without him. I agree about the way Joe Johnson has been playing but I think he’ll work out.
That was a crazy last couple minutes tonight. Great game to watch.
Melo will get his chance to Tbag Dantoni on Thursday. I might see if I can get a couple last minute tickets on Stubhub.

You are correct on my reason for not having them in the finals. When they were on their crazy streak during the playoffs last season I also rightly said they wouldn’t be in the finals. Call it a gut feeling but I’d put money on them not making it. I wouldn’t doubt that they’ll have the best record in the NBA, but I don’t think they’ll be the best in the playoffs.
and the lakers lose to the Cavs. Kobe might kill someone soon

Haha
I might put some action on the Raps when they play the Lakers.
In all fairness to the Nets, even given Lopez’s absence, their past 5 games have come against MIA, GSW, OKC, NYK and MIL. 4/5 who are playing out of their minds right now.

I think Andray Blatche has been filling in admirably, unfortunately losing him off the bech hurts.

Come on, 4 out 5 games have been played at home, you cant lose all of those games at home. They absolutely should beat Milwaukee and Golden State at home.
Tough loss for the nets last night. Great win for the knicks though. Melo played like he should be playing. Efficient as all hell. Hard not to like the Knicks…

Even though you’re prob right, post more anyway.
I actually did catch and enjoy most of last night’s battle, entertaining game. (And VanGundy was right-on about that supposed to be called as offensive foul on JKidd, at least starting this season)
edit - but when they don’t call it, it’s just a savvy move by an experienced vet
Lakers are probably the worst team in the league and a 38 year old point guard or 32 year old injury prone over the hill power forward isnt gonna change anything. Lakers are done! it sucks cause I was hoping for the Heat, Lakers finals. Oh well.
