Wow are the Lakers horrible, I love it!!! haha

I think Vince carter also made a few all star starts undeservedly due to his dunk competition performance but he was never mediocre.

I get the older guys making it because it’s the fans paying homage to a veteran.

I don’t think I’d put Vince Carter in that category with Lin though. Like you said he was never mediocre and was a superstar at one point.

I didn’t catch the entire game, but it was on in the background at Hooters. It confused me because every time I saw Dantoni’s mug, I kept thinking he was coaching the Knicks.

Does any one recall a player a mediocre as Jeremy Lin getting some many votes? (Damn pesky Asians).

They must be manipulating it mathematically [/quote]

LOL

J. Lin occasionally has huge scoring burst like his 38 points against San Antonio, one of the best teams in the league, last week. The magic last season and his ability to put up big numbers tells me he has high upside.

I think he’s more of a Westbrook PG than a CP3 type classical PG.

I seriously dont understand why the nba officiating is so appalling. I mean a foul is a foul, call it.

Kyrie going off in the 4th quarter in msg

Has anyone seen the movie thunderstruck? I just learned of its exustence

LeBron hasn’t fouled anyone since Dec. 8th. In fact, he’s played 212 consecutive minutes without one.

Dirk’s back! First half of the Spurs game he’s looking pretty good.

It hurts when your team is shooting nearly 60% from the field and still down by 12 at half time lol! Danny Green going insane from the three, 5 for 6

ATROCIOUS 3rd period for Dallas…

same with Stevie Nash, huge difference-maker in his first game back…

Nice avatar. What happened, did you lose a bet? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh, wait a second…

Great game between Knicks and Lakers yesterday…

Officiating was horrible for both sides yesterday some real non-existent fouls, and then there were times where players were getting hammered and nothing called.

I know the announcers were singing his praises but I was very unimpressed with Howard, Kobe is as usual amazing. Talk about being conflicted watching Ron Artest (his momma named him Ron amma call him Ron lol) one of my favorites, where from the same town, would love to have him on my team.

Do you Laker guys like Jodie Meeks, he is awful.

Please someone tell Raymond Felton to stop shooting, he is playing with an injured hand, prigioni should have been out there.

The Lakers game was awesome. Great to see them get a big win. Im not a Lakers fan, but i am a huge Kobe fan (he is still the best after Jordan, sue me) and i like Nash as well.

So what Howard got a double-double. No reason to sing his praises. The bottom line is he SHOULD be the most dominant center in the NBA by far, and he SHOULD be the key to the Lakers winning a title this year (obviously along with Kobe and Nash) but he just isnt performing that way.

All i think is thank god the bulls didnt get him. I dont like his attitude, and hes a mental midget. He doesnt have the drive it takes to be a true legend. He will only truly shine on a team where he is the only star (like Orlando)I dont see him being too happy playing second fiddle to Rose.

Felton is overrated. Sprained pinky or not. And yeah Meeks sucks. Kobe is putting on an MVP performance this year, and ill be rooting for him.

On a side note, despite the loss to Miami, Kevin Durant is also having an outstanding year. He is scoring more points than lebron, matching him for rebounds, and just barely behind on assists. If Kobe doesnt get MVP it will be hard to argue against Durant (at this rate at least)

Yeah…
DALLAS MAVS… Is all I have to say

I dont think anyone overrates Felton, in fact when fully healthy and reigned in he is a solid point guard who does nothing great but does everything pretty well. His pinky is actually fractured btw.

During the game they were saying it was a sprain. I havent read any updates on it since then.

He is not a good enough PG for me to believe that his performance on christmas was due to a hurt pinky. Hes OK, but hes far from incapable of turning out that sort of performance even in perfect pinky health.

it is fractured and he didnt play yesterday, he has been dealing with a hand issue for 3 weeks now. He was playing great until the injury. Like I said he is a solid hard nosed point guard. Nothing more nothing less. He is an excellent pick and roll PG, but at times chucks it up too much.

Half of his stat line the past two games has literally come in the first 13 of 46 minutes court time. 8 pts, 5 reb, 1 steal with 75% shooting in the first half off the bench in that Spurs game.

He seems VERY unmotivated with the pieces around him especially that front court. Visibly frustrated with Kaman and his horrible offensive awareness in the paint, inability to secure money boards or even get hands on a good pass. I also don’t recall Collison being this bad at running the game from the PG position while a Pacer or a Hornet.

Going be a long season for me and the rest of the Mavs crews out there. lol
