Spo will go before they break them up. Bosh’s contract is over priced, doubt any team would pick him up. Move LBJ or Wade and you are putting a hole in that team. I seriously doubt LBJ would go if it did end up like that which leaves Wade …
Would be interesting to see what a Wade trade would bring Miami. I see this a legit chance IF and ONLY IF Chalmers steps up and starts producing as a PG consistently.
Have no idea if or how the salaries would match up, but have heard some talk about Houston sending Scola and Martin to MIA for Bosh. Not sure how much credence there is to that, just thought it was interesting.

The ref’s are absolutely raping Artest. He’s had at least 3 majorly bogus calls go against him, including the double tech. The Lakers need to close this out strong or it’s wrap city.
Awesome game. That has to be the best combined ft% in a game, ever. LA was 40-41 [I think] and OKC was 26-28. That’s bananas. How in the hell did they get scheduled with back-to-back games? That makes no sense.
Awesome game! The African American Mamba (politically correct) stokes from the charity stripe. So clutch.
Should be up 2-1 but I know we’ll win tomorrow. OKC knows they’re lucky they won at home and they will be coming off a loss the night before. Bynum will play better and the Lake Show will tie it up!

Even though Bynum played like shit, he deserves credit for knocking down his ft’s. Don’t think he missed all night. After Harden hit that 3-on-1 3 off the steal I thought the Lakers were done. They finally showed heart. Let’s hope they bring it manana.
^^Bynum is one of the best (if not the best) FT shooting big man in the league… He is a temperamental basket case quite often but you gotta love his production at the line these playoffs.

On ESPN radio they were talking about how a possible LBJ for Melo trade would work wonders for both teams. Melo would be a much better fit with Wade and LBJ would do great in NYK where he could dominate the ball.
I think if Miami woulda signed Chandler instead of Bosh that they would be insane this year. A big man who is outstanding on D/rebounds and doesnt really need touches? Wheeeeeeeeew! That’s what Miami needs.
WHEN (not if) Miami loses this series I think Spo gets the boot. It also wouldn’t surprise me if they moved bosh (Wade or LBJ getting traded would be kinda shocking unless they got something unreal in return)
Pfff LA was lucky to scrap this one out. Durant deferred to much down the stretch (i.e. giving it to Ibaka multiple times for the contest jumper - wtf). OKC will win tomorrow and close them out in OKC for the 5 game victory and inevitable encounter with the Spurs in the WCF (the series everyone wants to see).

When I said “one of the big 3”, I really meant Bosh. Like you said, I just don’t see a scenario where Wade or James gets moved. About NY, that trade makes sense (provided Wade is healthy), but it is painfully obvious at this point that James has trouble with pressure. He’d crumble under the bright lights of NY. Also, when I wrote my big 3 comment I thought it was a foregone conclusion that Spoelstra was gone. I’m honestly surprised he’s lasted this long, and that’s not a knock against him.

Pff OKC was lucky to scrape out the win in game 2. This series could easily be 2-1 Lakers.
Looks like these teams are a lot more evenly matched than people thought.

Great post, just want to add that Paul George is much improved and is another big reason they are better. He’s gotten a lot better at shooting which keeps him on the court more.
Also helps that George grew two inches in this past offseason, according to players and coaches. I didn’t even know that was possible but apparently he’s a legit 6’8 now.

Yep, coaches always get run ahead of players. Though I don’t agree that Bosh is being overpaid - he’s still a 20-10 guy anywhere else - he does illustrate how difficult it is to play third wheel and still have a consistent, noticeable effect on the game. (see also: P Gasol)

No question. Still, last night’s win means nothing without another win tonight…

Some of those foul calls on Harden were completely ridiculous, im seriously getting annoyed with the way the officials call these games, any series.
Why cant the league tell the crews to call every game the way game7 of clips v griz was called?
Also, back to back OKC v LA, while mia and the Pacers have many days off makes absolutely no sense what so ever.
Harden was also getting ridiculous calls in his favor. One of his blocks on Bryant was clean, but he DID foul him several other times. And, he was grabbing, holding and flopping all over the place and getting silly shit his way. He needs to get fined for that shit. He’s one of the worst flopping offenders in the league.
I dont understand why they cant just play. Let them jaw at each other, as long as punches/elbows are not thrown who cares. It makes the game so much better to watch, i want to see them play, not the officials making stupid calls.
?I don’t give a [expletive] what you say,? Bryant told Yahoo! Sports late Friday. ?If I go out there and miss game winners, and people say, ‘Kobe choked, or Kobe is seven for whatever in pressure situations.’ Well, [expletive] you.
?Because I don’t play for your [expletive] approval. I play for my own love and enjoyment of the game. And to win. That’s what I play for. Most of the time, when guys feel the pressure, they’re worried about what people might say about them. I don’t have that fear, and it enables me to forget bad plays and to take shots and play my game."
Looks like Kobe is all fired up. Too bad I’ll miss tonight’s game.
