I watched the Chandler play 5000 times, the media is making it way more than it is…he didnt lower his body into Lebron he did extend his elbows and forearms, dirty? Borderline, consider the source this isnt Danny Ainge or Ron Artest setting the screen its one of the NBA good guys. Lebron did get whiplash…stopped and then pretended he got shot by Lee Harvey Oswald…fucking joke. Just like he went flying into the stands when he initiated contact with JR Smith, even on that 3 point play (or was it a 2) he initiated contact!
Im not saying the Knicks would have won…but you cannot in your right mind say that the Refs did not have something to do with lack of any defensive intensity with the knicks because if you gently cupped his ass it would have been a flagrant 2…Just look at the FT discrepancy…Lebron had more than the whole knick team!
It amazes me how talking heads are glossing over the shoddy ref calls.
The few fouls that were called in the knicks favor Wade and Joel Anthony were waving their hands in disagreement.
We dont have a PG to break down the d and get to the rim so we can have our 3 point shooters open…this is where not having Lin hurts, because he gets to the basket and the line.
Lebron is good enough as it is…he doesnt need any help from the refs…

It blows my mind that people try and argue this. Like you said, no one here can say the Knicks would’ve won, but it was back-and-forth before the refs pulled a LeBron-a-palooza. That may have been the most lopsided officiating in NBA history. Getting fucked out of the game by the refs has to demoralize a team.
