Tell em Matty
Man my Spurs are looking good.
Watching the LAL-OKC game right now.
I have to say, Westbook should be in the running for the best PG in basketball this year.
haha D-Fish laughing at this one.

Can Dallas be considered a dark horse? They’re 6th so they can be right?
If so I would have to go with them. I’m hoping Odom can step up his game come playoff time.
After watching OKC demolish the LAL in the 2nd half yesterday, I’m beginning to think it will basically be impossible to get past them in the West.
I’ve seen them play 4-5 times before, but never demolish the Lakers on their home court, a team that has lost only 2 games at home prior.

Memphis is the obvious but best dark horse candidate. They did it last year without their best wing scorer (Gay). They got Z-Bo back, Tony Allen is still ferocious on D… but they are very much a matchup team. They match up incredibly well with San Antonio for example, but not so much with some other teams.

Sorry Gettinitdone, you are out of your mind.

Knicks are not making it to the second round, however as a Chicago fan I am not thrilled with seeing htem in the 1st if it happens. They have the talent to make it uncomfortable but don’t think there’s a realistic shot at pulling it off. Taking it to 6 games and a couple close calls is very much possible with a Lin/Smith/Melo/Stoudemire/Chandler crunch time lineup though.

That really applies to any playoff bound team and I don’t see the Knicks as anymore a threat. In fact, If I were the Bulls I would rather face the Knicks over the Pacers, Celtics and Hawks.
With A’mare the Knicks are as talented as any team, let alone the Pacers, Hawks or Cs. C’mon.

Why? Other than the Celtics, I cant see why you would rather face the Knicks than the Hawks and Pacers.

Simply because he is not a fan of NY teams, thats fine. I personally think at full strength the Knicks are better than all three teams. Now they have been playing suffocating defense. You can make an argument that the Celtics because of experience you wouldnt want to face…
I don’t think the knicks would pull an upset but taking the bulls to 6 games is certainly not unrealistic.
Because of how much in disarray the Knicks are. Interim coach, Melo’s inconsistency and lack of team play, and Amares health issues. I
If winning 8 of 9 games is disarray…I hope they are in disarray every year. Lack of team play? They are going 10 deep, no one is complaining and Melo is buying into playing D and rebounding…when he was averaging 15 pts a game he wasnt bitching, every player seems content with their role,
Iman Shumpert really impresses me.

Yeah and if you’re a Knicks fan, hopefully this last 10 game stretch is the one that shows up in the playoffs.
But I see a .500 team that’s been inconsistent for most of the year.
The other 3 teams also have a core of players that have been playing together for a few years. the Knicks don’t. Combine that with the fact that Lin and Amare may not play again this season and you don’t have much of a fight.
But this is sports, anything can happen.

Guess it was just a matter of time, but it’s still a horrible idea.
Why does the NBA schedule games during the final 4?
