Eggs are dubbed natures perfect protein and i’m guessing you all include them in your diets. My question is for people who have any decent egg recepies other than plain old scrambled. I had an idea of hard boiling eggs then putting then in a blender with some protein shake for convienece and was wondering if anybody thinks this is a decent way to prepare egges with minimium hassle.

For your shake, I would not cook them all the way, soft cooked eggs will blend much nicer. As far as recipes, get yourself an omelet pan (non-stick), and learn to make omelets. You can fill them with what ever you want, according to your dietary needs. A couple of ideas: avocado, smoked salmon, shredded beef /chicken, ham, low fat cheese, tomatoes, spinach, pesto and the list goes on.

Yeah that can work. I wouldn’t do it personally just cos it sounds gross but if you’re just trying to get it into ya then it’s fine. I have em boiled for convenienve (you can eat em wherever), in an omelette for lunch’s at home or last night i just had a few things lying around so i chucked some onion, garlic and tuna packed in olive oil into a pan. When it was smelling good i chucked in 3 eggs and mixed it all around, waiting until the egg was set. Chuck on a plate and garnish with tomato sauce. Whalla! Protein + Fat and how! The sauce probably isn’t brilliant but it makes it taste real nice too. I call it - Russ’s Tuna Cake.

This was just me chucking stuff into a pan, but the egg itself is so versatile it’s not funny. Check out almost any decent cook book and it’ll have tons of egg recipes in there somewhere. Too bad most of them would have you gaining the wrong sort of weight if you filled up on em all the time but you’ll still get a lot of ideas.

Sounds like more hassle to me. Just scramble them.
