Naltrexone Thoughts?

Anyone used it or have any relevant thoughts?

I read a few papers which seem to suggest it may actually be able to keep LH/FSH secretion and hence testes working even when using high quantitates of AS?

wow, interesting, i had never heard of this drug.

Apparently opiate antagonists can stimulate the production of LH/FSH:

Well at least the cursory work-time afternoon research into this has enlightened me to the sexual effects of antagonising the opioid receptors of which i was blindly unaware previously. Thereby (possibly) adding to my pharmacological arsenal of becoming the ultimate multi-orgasmic male fuck machine whut.

A guy on another forum tried to convince me that naltrexone would be the magic bullet. However until I try it myself, I will remain skeptical, simply because there is no free ride on the HPTA IMO.

Would be nice if it works as postulated.

Thanks

I’ve been taking it for several months and I don’t know if it does anything or not. I’ve been doing 700mg/wk test prop for a few months for reference. I haven’t been using HCG and I have been taking 2mg EOD taken at night before bed. It seems to feel better than ED. My balls don’t seem like they’ve shrunk that much compared to the past, but it’s kind of hard to guestimate that accurately.

Ejaculate volume is down, not a good sign for the overall intended effect of keeping LH and FSH going. I don’t really feel or notice anything else different. I guess I will have to go off gear to see if it is doing anything. I also have not noticed immune enhancing effects as I have autoimmune arthritis that doesn’t bother me too much but occasionally makes me tired and my knee a little swollen and stiff.

No difference with this than normal. I also got a cold a month ago that seemed to hang around, so no help there. Side effects have not been much. When I first started and again when I bumped the dose I felt kind of tired the next morning and a little shakey. My nose also ran and was stuffy with rhinitis more than usual. These went away in a few days. When I decide to go off and see what happens I will post my experience.

2mg? That’s a very small dose. All things i’ve read indicate a 25-50mg dose. Any reason you went for this dose.

It’s low-dose therapy. Anecdotal evidence suggests the lower doses give a therapeutic effect without the shitty side effects of regular high doses. 50mg doses used for total blockade of opiate receptors against drugs like heroine and oxycodone or to treat alcoholism make a lot of people very lethargic or jittery and unable to sleep, nauseous, and blood pressure can get way too high. Plus it’s expensive.
