My Very First Two Blenders

Actually, the peanut butter I get has NO trans-fats. And it is made with cottonseed and rapseed oil.

Ingredients- Roasted peanuts, sugar, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (cottonseed and rapeseed) salt.

the wal-mart brand peanut butter.
actually the PB you buy is utter crap. its loaded with sugar and partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, which means trans fat just means there is less then 1 gram per label serving and most ppl eat more than a serving

PB real PB the ingreds should be well peanuts and maybe salt. peanuts have plenty of good fats all ready why add more and top it off woth a ton of sugar??

Just my opinion.

Hey Barnie, try this.

2 cups milk

2 cups yoghurt

1 cup of pure pumpkin(pie filling)

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. ginger

1 tsp. nutmeg

Sweeten to taste.

You can do a ton of different fruit and berrie combos with different flavored yoghurts. The quart containers kick ass for this.
This is just one of my recent favorites.

Good stuff above for sure. Id add a touch of rum extract or hell spiced rum.

You can also replace the milk and or yoghurt with scoops of Vanilla Metabolic Drive damn good stuff.

I gotta side with Phil on this one Barney. Everything he just said is true including the under 1 gram/ridulously small serving/no trans fats thing. I really do know what lack of funds is like that’s why I make my own.

As do I cant beat it peanuts, walnuts, almonds food processor and bingo you got tons of nut butter.

I’ve also been using the Grow! Whey to bump up the protein content, but I realy like the texture of the milk and yoghurt.

Bananna also helps with the consistency and texture too. I use them for strawberry/bananna shakes to offset the moisture content of the strawberries.

I currently have the raspberry Surge, and am kicking around some ideas for that too, but it takes me a while to figure out how to compliment the flavors.

I rock the Kitchen-aid blender after burning up my crappy walmart blender. 80 bucks is still a cheap blender but it is better the anything else at that price point. If you want to invest in the last blender you will ever need to buy get a Vita-mix blender. yeah it?s 400+ bucks.

What is up with people putting so much milk products in the these mixes? Your crapper will thank you if you leave out that stuff. Do not fear veggies in the mix. Here is one of my mixes…
1 cup spinach, 1 cup dry oatmeal, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 3 scoops of your choice of protein blend, and how ever much water you need. It is green but you cannot even taste the spinach. Drink this early in the day due to the carbs.

They are a good base to add different contents to. High nutritional density and very good texture. I’ve never had any problems digesting dairy products.

Some do, some don’t.

I give a big thumbs up to the pumpkin…fiber, vitamins and tastes delicious. You can just use pumpkin pie spice instead of the mixture of spices, too!

Good post. I have no problems with dairy at all.

That’s a hell of a blender. Does it come with a USB cable and a couple cd’s?
How did you know!?

It did burn out after a couple of months, though. We returned it to the manufacturer hoping to get our money back, but instead got a replacement 3 weeks later. The longest 3 weeks of my current existence…

In short, I wouldn’t recommend it.

what’s in that shake?

i was once telling someone how easy it is to make stuff like peanut butter and mayonnaise and the girl next to him asked me if i was straight or gay.

Are you adding rocks to your shakes!?!? Just take a good multimineral supplement, Barney.

once they smoke or you even smell it its only a matter of time.

Spend the cash and get a good one. I like the kitchen aid as well and hell ive smoked four of them but they replced them all next day air and get a new year warranty.

If you have the means get a vitamix if this one goes and I have to pay for another thats going to be my choice for damn sure tired of buying these things.

try mixing whatever you’re mixing by hand and you’ll figure it out.

Well here is a little tip for when your blender goes to shit. Go back to where ever you got it, and get the same model or close to the same one again, go back home wait a day or two.

Put the burned out one in the box take it back and tell them it crapped out the first time you used it get your money back and you got yourself a new blender. At lest it works at wal-mart.

Actually, this one starte smoking on the second usage, the other one crappe on the second. I am hoping like hell that I save the receipt so I can take it back.

Maybe a bad production run? I don’t know?

Here’s a tip though- The one I have is an Osterizer that is designed for making daqueries. I would assume that this means it can handle chopping ice.

Maybe you’re killing a blender that isn’t designed to do what you need.
