Lol, thanks Nikki!

Quick update from my phone: my brother’s graduation for the engineers was today, and I had family in town so I decided to skip my PLP challenge for today. If it were a squat day, I’d act differently, but I can’t justify missing quality family time for an vent like this just to do a few pullups, and pushups lol. The entire senior graduation walk down the campus hill is tomorrow morning, ad then I’ll be hitting my overhead press afterwards.

My Indigo-3G was shipped to my hometown adress for some reason, and it is supposed to be delivered on Monday by my tracking update. So, I’ll guess I’ll be Makin a trip tomorrow, cause I don’t trust that package anywhere out of my eyesight lol.

Yay for the I3G!!!

Wow 1 AM. That’s dedication.

Haha, my workout was over around 5 but I was up til 1

fml, you are catching too fast

EDIT: meant to say you’re catching UP too fast

Awesome pressing Adam!

If you don’t mind me asking: What sort of camera do you use plz?

What goal/method are you shooting for atm? Strength/size bit of everything etc?

@Aqua: That’s the point, right? Haha, thanks, bud

@Un: Thanks! I actually have an iPhone, which has a camera on it that I use because it has my YouTube account set up to it that I can immediately send the videos to from the gym. I also have a Flip camera though, and those things are pretty good.

Dude, I just wanna get BIG haha. And it’s not for ego reasons. Whenever I see a dad walking hand-in-hand with his 4 year old daughter, next to his wife, packing a chest that is about to explode out of his shirt (wow, this sounds extremely homo haha) I think to myself “Nobody his going to mess with that guys’ kid/wife”. There’s been times when I was younger and my older brothers and I would walk around New York on vaca or Kansas City where we used to live, and someone crazy would walk by and my older bros would immedietely get around my mom because you never know what will happen in big cities like those. I would always think “What am I supposed to do? I’m not big like these guys”. That’s the reason why I lift, for family and friends

Sorry for the book I just wrote for you lol

So this will be the last post in here for a while. I’m starting up a new log for my Indigo-3G experience which I will be starting in a little less than 3 weeks! I’ll post the link in here once it is up.

5/3/1 Squat (3 day)

(working sets)
(70%) 230 X 3
(80%) 265 X 3
(90%) 295 X 3 (decided to stick with 3 reps and up the weight)
320 X 3 PR
340 X 1 PR EASY. Should have gone for 1 or 2 more but for some reason I saw myself getting burired on the 2nd rep, just had a terrible feeling so I racked it
295 X 3
305 X 3

Deadlift
225 X 3, 275 X 3
315 X 2, 2, 2
345 X 2, 2, 2
365 X 2, 2, 2
385 X 2, 2, 2
315 X 3
345 X 3
365 X 3

Lying Leg Curls
100 X 10
120 X 10
130 X 10
140 X 8 + some partials at bottom
110 X 10, 10
Dropset: 110 X 10, 90 X 6, 70 X 8

Pullups
69 reps over 9 sets

320 X 3

340

NOTES: Deadlifts took a bit out of me and didn’t really feel like I had much left after so I did some leg curls, and my last day of the PLP challenge on pullups and called it a day. Squat is getting MUCH better and I see 405 before summer!

An iphone - that’s a pretty cool application. I’ll check out the flip-phones - thanks Adam.

Nice squats! How do you find Deadlifting after heavy squatting?

Have you ever tried a hook grip with the DL’s? - I ask this as I recently bought new bars etc. it’s forced me to change my grip, I was thinking just an over/underhand grip - but I figured I’d give a hook grip a go.

That’s cool man - that’s a really awesome reason to train. Old School.
I didn’t realise that the US was that dangerous.

Is there a particular physique that you’re shooting for? - or is it get as big as possible!

Looking forward to the Indigo Log - I seriously hope it brings you great results!

Thanks! I’ve been playing around with deadlift after squatting since doing HP Mass and seeing Scott Yard’s log on EliteFTS (he does deads and squat on the same day) and I like it. I obviously don’t go as heavy on deads after squat, but I like the extra volume to really nail in form.

I’ve tried the hook grip before but I wasn’t too fond of it.

Well I guess there are parts of the U.S. that are fairly dangerous, but I’m just referring to the crazy people that you have a slight chance of running into wherever you go. There was a man recently beat into a coma just for rooting for the opposing team at a baseball game!

The Indigo-3G Log:

I’ve been trying to post in your Indigo Log - but they won’t let me.

Just wanted to congratulate you on your recent PR’s and that I’m following your Indigo Log - but from the shadows of The Other Logs

Same here.
Well… keep killing it ALK.

Thanks you two! I’ve been without a laptop and busy traveling lately (as you can tell in my Indigo log) so I haven’t been posting much but my laptop should be fixed in a few days after my return from Cancun so I will back in your logs in no time

Np man - hope you don’t mind if I use this forum as a go between to ask you questions and stuff during your experience with Indigo-3G.

Enjoi the rest of your holiday!

Sure thing, man! I can’t wait to get back so I can start.

Welcome back Adam - go smash it up!

All the best with your girl too man - sounds like she’s really made an impact on you.

Thanks!

Seriously, we’re talking right now about how crazy this all is that we met. We joked about making one of those corny commercials about the couples that have “love at first site”. I’m going to just leave it at that lol.

Mega corny lol - you’re a happy man and that can only bring some great things in the future.

Congrats on being a member of CT’s team - this is going to be awesome!
