My Road To BEASTNESS w/ Vids

Wowzers bowsers, nice sessions! You’re just killing all sorts of pulling.

@Nikki: Yes, I ate a LOT when I got done. I was uncomfortably full lol

@Matty: RB deads are my new favorite lift for sure.

@Aqua: Thanks, bud!

(I tried posting these replies and my session last night but it didn’t go throug, AGAIN)

Great training in here man! You’re keeping those PRs coming every session!

Finished with the PLP Challenge Day 47 (56 reps)

445 X 4 (pullin’ @ 1:25)

It looks like I’m losing the ability to keep my lower back arch on my top sets. Does anyone think this form is a bit too ugly for a PR set?

NOTES: Pretty tired today. School is almost over and I’m just trying to chug along and finish strong (didn’t mean to ryhme). I have 3 finals next Tuesday and one Wednesday and then I’m done. I’m gonna ask one of my professor’s if I can switch one out though because you’re supposed to be allowed to if you happen to have 3 in one day.

Looks like you had yourself another killer pullin’ day.

As for the form, I’m sure if you took a bit more time to set up the rounding would go away. But I can understand that you got psyched up for that last set, so you just gripped and ripped.

How the heck do you get PRs everyday? I think that you should lay off because you’re screwing up your CNS, and I say that only cuz I’m jealous haha

Oh and about the one-hand DLs… show-off :stuck_out_tongue:

Handled that shit like a boss. Good job dude.

Form didn’t look too bad, but I’m not an expert so I’m not gonna comment. Very Konstantinov-ish, lolz.

Lol, you basically stiff-legged that first rep. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks, everyone! Form was no doubt not perfect, far from it lol, but I’ll work on setting up better from now on.

5/3/1 Bench (1 Day)

205 X 5
225 X 4 lol, dead at this point

HS Shrugs
4-5 sets of 15

NOTES: Pretty good session. My headphones blew out on me. This is the 4th pair of Skull Candies (I think that’s what they’re called) that has died on me. I don’t even listen to them loud. I have a warranty on them so I get a new pair replaced each time but it’s starting to get old. Anyone have the same problem? Lol

Yeah ive been thru atleast 3 pairs of skullcandy’s myself. I just buy the $10 ones lol. Nice benchin dude!

Why does everyone’s Skullcandies suck but mine? I <3 mine.

Lol at 4.9. Congrats on your PR =D

I was thinking about getting a pair to hopefully have one that doesn’t break every two weeks. Looks like that’s a no-go lol. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey man!

Just been going through everything that I’ve missed.

S M A S H I N G I T

Alot of ‘Bold’ PR’s in your sessions - as always.

@All: Thanks, everyone! I have been busy with a project and now finals are coming up so I have a lot of work cut out for me. I apologize if I can’t make it around to everyone’s log. I did get my Skull Candie replaced with a pair of Sony headphones so hopefully these hold up :).

NOTES: Not sure if I’ll keep the UH rows in because they just aren’t all that great to me. I wish our gym’s DBs went higher than 100s because I love DB rows but would like to go heavier.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I might be on the list to purchase the first batch of Indigo-3G! I am beyond excited and you guys can bet I’ll be keeping a detailed update on my experience with it.

That’s some volume =D

Very exciting that you’ll be among the first to try Indigo-3G, I can’t wait to try it.
It’s funny because I thought to myself that as soon as I start taking thermos again (I stopped taking them after my throwing up incident) that they’ll be releasing it soon. So said so done. Now I gotta wait for the bottle to be finished and take a couple weeks off. FML

Meh, I’m personally skeptical about all of the fancy supplements that T-Nation advertises. Particularly that I,Bodybuilder program. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure it’s a great program, but the claims about Thibs gaining 27 lbs of muscle in six weeks or whatever are just absurd.

But oh well, best wishes with 3G, Adam! Hopefully it can help you with your goals. Nice PR on the rows, BTW.

While doing PLP - have you noticed much changes with your pull-ups? i.e. form, strength etc.

Looking forward to see some user reviews on the indigo-3G will be interesting to see how much is just hype…

Lol, well I hope whatever it was that was causing you sickness goes away!

Well obviously they may play with wording a bit to hype up the program, he may have gained so many pounds in some time but how much was: regained muscle, water weight, glycogen uptake, etc.

I’m pretty psyched for it. Biotest is the only company I truly trust. I have contacted them on several occasions and they always have taken good care of me with whatever it was I needed.

I feel like my MMC for back has gotten much better. And yes, I also feel much stronger when doing chins now. I’m pretty sure it is doing great things for my overall work capacity as well.

I’m definitely interested, too! Stay tuned
