NOTES: Well, I’m not sure what happened. My OH and incline were on fire, everything was explosive. I think I got too cocky and used too many paused reps, those really take a lot out of me. Didn’t even want to squat after bench but I figured I’d give it a go, and I’m glad I did. They were damn good, and I finally feel like I’m keeping my chest up throughout the movement.

Well sh*t happens. I’d say 3 out of 4 exercises feeling awesome would classify as a fairly decent workout :slight_smile:

Do you use a regular grip when you OHP? Or do you use a false grip?

Thanks buddy. I’m pretty pleased with how the session went, consider I’m fasting 2 days a week (yesterday) and starting to feel a little sick (stoner roommates are sick lol)

Funny you ask, I played around with thumbless on OH for a while but just today switched back to regular lol

NOTES: Cut the workout. I could have grinded through the incline sets, but I know for a fact I wouldn’t have been able to bench. Thinking I might need to take a deload soon. School always throws a huge amount of stress on me that affects training.

Here you go Aqua, lol. I’m pretty happy with the changes made, especially for only being 3 weeks. I looked at some pictures to compare since last October/November ish and you can REALLY tell the difference.

These were the coldest progress pics I’ve ever taken! Our heater is broke right now, and it is 5 degrees outside. We had a guy come by last night to fix it, so I went to be happy as can be. Woke up pissed cause I was shivering my buns off lol. I’ve been calling him but he won’t answer. Hopefully he comes by tonight before I go to sleep.

Today is a pulse fast, and they are starting to get easier and easier. I used to constantly watch the clock for my two hour pulses (this would make the day go by SLOW), but now I don’t even think about it. I still can’t wait to go to sleep so I can wake up to an actual breakfast lol, but the pulse days aren’t as bad now. I might even try keeping the two days in while I start gaining again, who knows . . . .

Haha finally! Glad those pulse fasts are getting easier. I may give them a try. They’d be perfect for my Wednesdays.

I can definitely see more definition in the abs and the inner chest (I don’t think there is such a thing lol). Keep it up man! You’re going to kill the competition.

Awesome work! I pulse fast once per week and I’m bulking. It’s a good way to maintain some level of leanness/not turn into a complete fatty

@Aqua: Yeah, I was thinking the same. I can also see more definition in my left delts and upper bicep area. My supplement whore self also got some HOT-ROX in the mail yesterday lol, that I will wait until 6 weeks out to use. I think I’m gonna kick some ass in this contest!

How much of a bitch is that pinch in the neck. Ive done that on numerous occasions. Make sure your form is perfect and ice that shit. I did it and couldnt move my neck properly for a week. Watch out cos it can re-occur quite easily, always on OHP. I started doing them seated and as long as my head stays flat on the bench it doesnt hurt even if its days later. Good luck.
