Guys, while I’m clearly not Otep nor do I know him personally, I imagine his dickhead response was because he thought the OP was a troll do to the recent posting of a similar situation and the seemingly unrelated tat question at the end. There’s almost no way someone could/would be that heartless.

FWIW, every person I’ve ever lost, I’ve gained some lesson about life, no matter how small it may seem (significance is not measured by size). I’m sure your mother’s life has had a major influence on the quality person that you are. Living by her examples not only helps you keep her alive inside you, but your actions will touch the lives of others positively.

Losing a parent, especially to suicide, is a very personal grief. My mother died when I was a baby, and my dad killed himself when I was 19. No indication of his misery. No suicide note. I want you to know what took me years to realise. It wasn’t your fault.

I was once told, don’t ever feel sorry for the one you love in a loss such as this. She is with God, not doubt. Honestly, what better place to be? That little bit of advice has actually served me well.

Sorry for your loss OP. The way in which it happened must just add to the turmoil you’re feeling. It sounds liek you are handling it better than I would, and I hope you continue to do so.
